My visit was a spa day birthday treat. From walking into the reception to leaving I found all the staff pleasant and helpful. All the area were clean and all the saunas and steam rooms were great. The lunch buffet was delicious and plentiful. My facial brought a lovely relaxing day to a perfect end.

Went for a spa stay which was overall good. Positives as follows: - All food absolutely amazing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all delicious and so much choice and food. 10/10 - Spa facilities were great. Lots of different heat rooms. Lovely jacuzzi. - Rooms - spacious, clean and very comfortable. - Photo Booth in spa area - great touch and lots of fun. Negatives as follows: - I was given a rey bathrobe when my 5 friends had white and one of my friends didnt have a tie on hers so 2 trios to reception but both issues rectified - No changing cubicles in the changing rooms. - Some of the staff, definitely not all, did not feel friendly or approachable. - Different spa areas felt slightly disjointed and due to the staff not explaining where things were or how we had access we spent time looking for things. - Bathroom- shower head was loose and so oscillated while showering. I woukd definitely go back as it was a lovely stay! Just a couple of bits of room for improvement.

Reviewing spa only. Pleasant check-in and given nice robes and slippers in our lockers. Enjoyed the spa although it was a bit busy and not many places to sit. The lunch was a reasonable buffet but there were people walking through the restaurant in swimming shorts etc on their way to the pool, which was odd. The pool area had padded sun-beds that were soaked through and not pleasant to lie on. Was also very dark in there. The treatment we booked was a glow mask facial. The photo shown was of an LED mask, however we were given something quite different. We had to sit in the public area in a swivel chair while the facial took place and a heat / light was lowered in front of us. As there were many people chatting directly behind us, this was not relaxing at all and we both felt quite vulnerable. Would not have booked this if we had known we would have no privacy. Overall I think the pool and restaurant area need an overhaul as they let it down. The staff were all pleasant and the beauty therapist was very good.

Four of us went for a day spa and we were very impressed. The facilities were clean and although busy it was not too busy. The buffet lunch was amazing, very fresh with so much choice. Our treatments were great. I had Ellie and she was so good I fell asleep! Very good value for money.

Wonderful spa day package and excellent value. Signed up for an excellent Pilates class as soon as I arrived. Followed by a one-to-one Espa demo with Marika who was brilliant. Snooze in the relaxation room. Read a book with coffee in the bar area. Two course lunch was adequate - plenty but of mass-catering quality. However, my dietary intolerance had been recorded and I had a personal walk-through, which was very kind and excellent customer service. Then nearly two hours of facial and massage with Marika.. Absolutely fantastic. Loved it. On top of all this, some nice slippers in a bag to take home plus an expensive Espa candle. I would def recommend! Just what I had hoped for! Didn’t even use the gym or fire/ice - next time!!

I came to this lovely place with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. I booked the spa day which included buffet lunch Swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc, treatment later. Additionally, we booked an over night stay for the 80s retro band/ 3 course meal+ wine And most importantly, lots and lots of dancing to great music. It was all such a fabulous experience. If you haven't visited this place, I believe it's definitely worth coming to get away from the hectic world we live in . Furthermore, soaked up the great location, and outdoor facilities.

I recently stayed here for a business trip. The room was comfortable and clean, I had a great night's sleep ready for my meeting the next day in one of the meeting rooms they offer. The gym & spa were also top class. Tea, coffee & snacks were available all day and they had a large TV to plug in my laptop to present. The staff were friendly and helpful and food was really good, I had dinner at Aston's, buffet breakfast and a delicious vegetarian pie and mash for lunch. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Elegant Victorian themed Spa. I have visited Whittlebury Hall Spa a few times and it never disappoints. From the Victorian themed statues, to the ambiance and service provided. I would highly recommend visiting here for a relaxed spa day. They have several jacuzzi pools & steam rooms, your provided a buffet lunch and a treatment depending on what package you go for. Everything is clearly labelled. You leave feeling refreshed. There is complementary water machines all around to keep you hydrated. A bar area to buy refreshments such as hot & cold beverages.

There is a lot of potential to be something great here but unfortunately with most establishments these days the staff really let it down. There is a huge disjoint between the hotel, the spa and the leisure centre which all operate separately. Your afternoon tea is enjoyed with the sound of POP music which really does not fit. The leisure centre has a canteen style (not very comfortable) the little staff that are there are inexperienced with serving. You also have swimwear hanging in the same room which seems odd with an afternoon tea. The manager however is fantastic and has great service. Your spa experience is provided by unaccommodating staff that begin their sentences with NO, before you have had a chance to explain your needs. all luxuries have been stripped out (no shampoo provided in the showers, slippers work on a first come first served policy so remember to take your own) the spa area is kept wet (there's no regular maintenance, so be careful when walking round the pool) Food and beverage options at the hotel have improved over the years, and actually the food standard is pretty good. There is one or two servers that really shine and I hope they get rewarded for providing such excellent service amongst an industry where the few good ones have to carry the rest of the team who are not bothered but can not be laid off because the industry needs the staff. Good Luck Whittlebury Hall, you have a long way to go but are moving in the right direction.

Beautiful setting and very friendly staff. Service was excellent although a few glitches on the last night as the kitchen was very busy catering for a wedding. Not a huge problem as our waiter Harry dealt with everything in his stride, assuring everyone and keeping everyone happy with his sharp wit and sense of humour. Harry was the highlight of our visit. The hotel needs more Harry's well done to such a pleasant young man.
