   Katie was absolutely wonderful, so warm and welcoming and the highest quality waitress we’ve ever experienced. She was thoughtful, efficient, and even asked what we were celebrating! Katie then brought a special congratulations dessert out with all the others to celebrate the achievement. Food was delightful, prompt despite it being a really busy period. Highly recommend!

   We went for dinner here last night and had Davina as our server. Davina was incredibly sweet and we couldn’t have asked for a better waitress- she was lovely! The food was incredible and the atmosphere was great! All in all, we had a lovely evening!

   We were 12 in number celebrating a 60th birthday. Our server (Jake) was outstanding, we arrived in dribs and drabs but he knew exactly who hadn't ordered their drinks! We didn't wait long for our food, which was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal. Even the children ate everything. We weren't rushed, and it didn't cost as much as we thought! (Win, win situation).

   We hadn't been here for a few years so we were interested in seeing what it was like now. Reading all the excellent reviews we had really great hopes for a fantastic experience. So we booked a table for a Saturday evening. On arrival the car park was nearly full, this was at 9 pm so a good sign. On entering the premises we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who confirmed our booking and took us to our table. There were quite a few large parties dining but fortunately there were still tables available. The atmosphere was busy yet you could still hear the music and the tables were not too close together to other diners. Always a favourite feature of ours. Again another friendly staff member took our drinks orders and these arrived quite quickly. There was a really nice selection on the menu and the prices didn't seem too expensive. I ordered the smoky half rack of ribs. My wife ordered the hand battered fish. Both dishes arrived not too quickly and were nice and warm, very tasty and freshly cooked. For desserts we ordered a Belgian chocolate brownie and a sticky toffee pudding. Again both were lovely. We both had one drink each and the bill came to just over £53 which I think is very reasonable for a really good experience. We were not disappointed. We have now added this venue to our regular list of places to dine.

   First time we've been here. Lovely setting for a summers evening with a big outdoor space. Inside was clean and tidy. Well staffed and our reservation was on time. Expect to pay £10 for two drinks and I've added picture for much of the main menu prices. It was definitely high quality but a two course meal for two with four drinks (two were soft drinks) £100. It was a nice experience but the price would mean only for another special occasion to return.

   Me and my husband have visited M&C multiple times and the experience has always been a pleasant one. Today we visited again and the experience was the very TOP one. Our waitress was Alexandra and she went above and beyond to make us feel very welcomed. Her good attitude, good knowledge of the menu, charisma and conversational skills are outstanding!!!All this service to be put next to the food which has been as always very good, tasted fresh and simply DELICIOUS! We will definitely keep visiting the place as it never disappoints! Thank you Alexandra, thank you Chefs and thank you team!

   Our first time eating at Miller & Carter, I'd read the reviews and heard some good things about the food which I was looking forward to. This was a treat from my Husband as it was my birthday...we took our two teenage Daughters with us to have dinner as a family. We ran a little late but we called through to confirm ok to still come. Our table was booked for 6.15pm...we got there about 6.30pm. We we're greeted and seated straight away. It wasn't overly busy, but steady I'd say. We had our waitress come over shortly after and gave us the menu's...there was a set Valentine's menu and a normal menu. We ordered drinks first, but needed a few minutes to decide on the food. We decided on the set menu, which was £30pp, which went up to £40pp as we ordered two share platters of meat. The food was beautiful....we had starters(x3) of chicken wings and I had the calamari. We had two sharing platters which came with chips, an onion loaf and an iceberg lettuce wedge with sauce and bacon on the wedge. The food was cooked beautifully. We all polished off our meat, but I was getting too full to finish my chips. Although the food was beautiful, the service we received was slow compared to other customers...I could see we were the only family in our area, all around us were couples. Who managed to come in after us and got served quicker than us and was able to leave alot sooner. I ordered another drink which took them more than 20 minutes to come out. We were there two and a half hours before we even got our desserts in the end. There was only two options left as they had ran out of everything else...they had the chocolate brownie or the sticky toffee pudding left. We all had the warm brownie, three with chocolate ice cream and I had mine with caramel ice cream I believe....the brownies were lovely, although our ice cream was already half melted when they brought the desserts out to us. All in all, the food was beautiful but the service was not five star as I had been lead to believe. In my opinion, if your charging prices like this, you need to be giving five star service.    I visited Miller and Carter on Saturday night for the first time with my partner and can say I was blown away! We were out for a date night and the setting was perfect. It was very busy, we booked in advance and arrived early to have a drink. The cocktails were delicious! Our table wasn't ready on time so we waited at the bar and the hostess came to us (despite seeing many faces throughout the evening) to tell us our table was ready rather than expecting us to keep approaching the desk which was lovely. The food was absolutely incredible!! I ordered the scallops to start (no photo as I couldn't keep my knife and fork down long enough) and then the surf and turf fillet steak. As a fussy steak eater I can say it really was cooked to perfection! No negatives here. All in all a wonderful date night with exceptional speedy service and great atmosphere! 10/10
