   Stopped off at Strip in between pubs for a quick bite. The beef dripping fries drew us in, and we shared one of the wraps which was cooked exactly as we asked, but the smoked peppercorn sauce stole the show.

   I had the fries and classic Mac and cheese. I really enjoyed the fries they were great nice and crispy! It would of been nice with a sauce. Unfortunately at the time truffle was not available. Very disappointed with the Mac and cheese there wasn't any flavour and the quality was of a low standard.

   I saw online a decorated experienced chef come to stroud; and walk past looked intruiging so wanted to give it a try. I was a little worried wasn't going to pick up as when I pass in day don't see many people there. But on nights/early evening its in full swing and was small groups of people. I had the main meal (steak, chips, watercress) and the Cheesy bacon chips as a side. It was absolutely brilliant. Love food and trying new places. And definitely best steak I've ever had, top 3 food place in stroud (sorentoes and corner house other two, search those to see my reviews of them). Bacon cheesy chips were really tasty. The steak was perfectly seasoned, could tell propper salt and pepper was used as wasn't tiny specs was proper salt crystals. I personally wasn't a fan of the watercress salad dressing, but that's my personal preference. As a whole was delicious. Maybe should have gone for a different side as was quite chip heavy but wasn't any fault of staff obviously as the order was down to me. Very good service too. From receptionist, waitor, and chef as well. As was checked up on and given take away container in case didn't finish, but had it all as was very tasty. Definitely highly recommended to others and will go again when opportunity arises.

   Popped into Steak Strip Bar me and wife ordered the steak wrap and fries with peppercorn and bearnaise sauce quite honestly the best steak ive tried lovely meal. Would definitely return we had a chat with the the owner who was very pleasant im sure this resturant will thrive really enjoyed our visit top class.

   Really enjoyed our visit. Had the steak roll which was perfectly cooked. Fantastic sauce in a lovely light flatbread with cheese, fries and sauce. Wife had the festive roll which was served with brie and cranberry sauce.Would definitely recommend a visit. The lads were really friendly too.
