We came to have dinner at Côte for Valentine’s Day! The food was amazing and we had a great time. This is the second time I come here and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. I have been to other Côte and this one is by far the best. Everytime we come to Gloucester we have dinner here. Thanks again.

Had a very pleasant Valentines day dinner here. I like Cote as it's a reasonably good French brasserie style restaurant with some authentic dishes. Service is friendly and competent. Pricing is reasonable - £60 per head including drinks. One of the better chains with a well focused niche.

The staff were lovely. The restaurants cleanliness was up to a great standard. The food was cooked to absolute perfection and I couldn’t have picked a fault in any of the food even if I tried.

We visited Cote Brasserie in Gloucester for a birthday celebration on Sunday evening. On arrival, we were greeted with promising first impressions as our allocated table had been thoughtfully decorated with a birthday banner, confetti, and a card – a lovely touch that set a celebratory tone for the evening. However, the service aspect of the visit unfortunately fell short of expectations. Despite our request for a Coca Cola upon ordering, it was not received until after we had finished our starters. Despite the glasses being present on the table, we weren't offered water, nor were the wine glasses removed. The lack of engagement from the team was also disappointing. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, the team seemed preoccupied and failed to build rapport, or offer any checkbacks during our meal. Instead, the team were often clustered around the entrance chatting amongst themselves. Consequently, our table was not promptly cleared between courses. When the bill was presented, we had been incorrectly charged for two Coca Colas despite only one being consumed. This oversight further underscored the lack of attention to detail from the team. On a more positive note, the food itself was excellent. Each dish was well-prepared and flavourful. However, the excellent quality of the cuisine was overshadowed by the subpar service experience.

Food was generally quite good. The calamari was incredible, and the chips sides were good as well. The seafood stew(don't remember the name exactly) was nice too, although slightly too salty. The drinks we had were pretty average. Generally a good experience, although fairly expensive as you would expect.

My father and I visited here today for the very first time, safe to say we will be back! We were extremely impressed with the food not only the quality, prices but also the portion size, lovely premises and impeccable service.

Wow, really appetising glisten free dishes. We had a cheese platter which was super laden with fruits. The fish pie with salmon, cod and prawns is a surprise which threw us off positively. The service is such a pleasure. Mr Carlo who served us as well as the entire team is so customer obsessed. Coming from London, these guys are so delightful and we enjoyed the evening here. Ways to go guys and cheers to them! Good selection of full bodied French wine which goes well with their menu. Solid good and great value for the price. Just go for it!

While front of house was (mostly)spot on, the food was questionable. We're (2x adults and child) regular at several Côte and very familiar with the Boudin Noir. However, this branch is dusting it with apparently "rice flower". Completely undoing it's well known texture and flavour leaving a 'powdery' experience. The manager (I believe new) did struggle a little with me wanting to understand the kitchen process (fridge to plate) over the usual "I'm not happy" and "can I get you a fresh portion", but was very willing to please. Unlike other branches, we weren't offered the children's menu, flatware or craft entertainment (french bread colouring sheet) we often see.

Whenever I eat at a restaurant, I usually eat the main meals. But this time, I can't believe myself. I did eat three courses. The food was so delicious; I enjoyed it. I highly recommend it.
