The best Mexican food I’ve had for a long time! Portions are really generous and the flavours are great. The staff are very friendly and you can customise your food so you can leave something out if you don’t like it.

We came off the freeway due to the reviews of this little place within a shopping centre. So pleased we did! The food and service were excellent! Wonder if they’ll come back with us to Australia!

I hardly give 5* but this is a neat place with friendly staff who solve your questions very friendly, and the food is great and good portions, especially the beef burrito. I was surprised of the quality of the meat which is not usually good in this kind of restaurants). If I have to say something bad I'd say that the chairs are not very comfortable and there is no air conditioner.

A Taste of Tex-Mex Perfection in Stroud! La Cantina in Stroud is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment you step up to the counter, the excellent customer service makes you feel right at home. The staff are very friendly and efficient, always ready with a smile and happy to answer any questions. You can truly taste the authentic Tex-Mex heritage in every bite. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are bold, and the lovely portions mean you definitely won't leave hungry! Aclean and quick service, which is fantastic for a busy lunch or a casual family dinner. Wonderfully family-friendly, making it a great spot for all ages to enjoy some delicious food together. If you're looking for a genuine taste of Tex-Mex with top-notch service in a welcoming environment, La Cantina is the place to go in Stroud. You won't be disappointed! Chicken is halal

Solid Tex-Mex option. Had my usual naked burrito with rice/black beans/shredded beef. Both flavour and portion size were really good, though I always hope for more cheese options. Service was brilliant, they perfectly followed my requests, which is not always the case. Not related to this specific restaurant but seating is shared across all the units in the indoor market, and can be a bit hit and miss. It does get quite busy during dinnertime/weekends and might be difficult to find a table if you're with a group.

I’ve eaten here on at least 4 occasions & I wasn’t sure if I’d like the food as I’d never tried Tex-Mex food before. But wow! Was I in for a surprise! I tried the vegan bean tortilla option, with all the sauces they had to offer & it was the most delicious food I have tasted since the first time I tried Thai food. So many mouth watering flavours, huge portions so I was full for the rest of the day. Can’t recommend highly enough: 11 out of 10!

We went on a busy Saturday, we’d tried four places and couldn’t get a table. The minute we sat down we were told β€˜if you’re sitting here you have to buy from here.’ Not those words exactly but words to that affect. My friend bought a vegan burrito, I personally didn’t eat because I felt constantly watched. The people on the other table were eating food from somewhere else. I’m sure the food is lovely and on a different occasion when it’s not so busy it would be ok. But on this occasion I just felt very uncomfortable. I work in food so I can understand how difficult it can be and you didn’t mean to make anyone feel uncomfortable. But hopefully you will be aware of this for next time. Potentially you could put signs on the tables so people know.

Food was fresh and delicious. Exploring new places popping up in stroud finally made it round 90% of the street foot style food in five valleys shopping centre. I went for a chicken Burito, with salad, rice, sauce and quacamola. Very tasty. Now being overly critically, I'm a fan of lemon in qucamola, that would be a minor improvement, I may be corrected and told that isn't how the dish is designed to be, but just my personal preference. Also may be interesting idea to use a panni presh on the burito's to give a little extra texture with slightly crimping the edges and getting the lines along from machine line char grilling vegetables or grilling meat. Those 2 small things I'd personally experiment with; but equally was nice how it was. Very tasty I'd definitely recommend to others and be back again for another one, maybe trying beef burito, next time or some of the quesadillas.

This is one of our family's very favourite places to eat in Stroud. The burritos are delicious, great value for money, and we love the veggie options. The kids are also huge fans of the quesadillas. Also, excellent customer service!

Stopped for some nachos with a mix of chicken and beef topping. We shared the nachos between two of us as the amount was quite sizeable. They were superb, and the chicken was especially good, will certainly go back again.
