   Awesome Sunday Roast, get there early for a chance at the turkey! The beef did not disappoint! Great service from the staff and the sticky toffee pud did not last long enough for a photo it was that good!

   Excellent place to have lunch! From 12 to 6PM during workweek two mains for £10.49, which is an unrivalled and exclusive offer for such a great meal. However even at standard price you get a great value for money, and it's worth mentioning that the service was brilliant, the atmosphere lovely too. Will definitely get back.

   Breakfast was good....staff friendly and professional. Dinner was the set menu, large selection and well prepared. Had everything on the menu. Special recognition must go to Emma, always a smile, professional and efficient.

   May be short of staff, we waited for a while before seated. Table was sticky and dirty. Food is ok,reminded me of Brewers Fayre. The chicken wings starter look so pathetic though. Bathroom toilet have 5 cubicles but only one is working, not nice.

   Same dated decor with stupid ornaments on random shelves. Table surface so tacky the bill stuck to it! So much sanitizer on unsuitable table surfaces. Lots of standard lamps all with crooked lamp shades still after the long time since my past visit. Two main courses for £8.99 mainly composed of reheated frozen food as usual with a few dishes cooked fresh. £15 for a bottle of wine and £4.50 for a pint. The waiter James is a character and very hospitable but the food was terrible to acceptable! I ordered “fish” and chips it was over cooked batter with NO fish! The tarter sauce was Not tarter sauce I’ve been eating it for decades and it was disgusting. I sent it back and ordered another lasagne. It was tasty but really needed at least another layer or two of pasta! It was so warm (microwave?) it could not be eaten immediately! Note the half lemon with the fish and chips! Who puts half a large sized lemon on a plate? Note empty dishes at end of table. It took too long to remove so they lost out on a desert and coffee order! I will give them a second chance only because of James and hopefully everything improves.
