This was the worst night out of my life. When walking past Centra a lovely kind fella provided me and my friends with balloons. Full of joy we proceeded to JD Wetherspoons. Big mistake. At the door we were RUDELY told to pop said balloons. On one member of the groups birthday no less. At which point we realised we had a choice and hid said balloons. The evil bouncer then followed our footsteps and popped them in front of our very eyes. The poor birthday boy. He cried in the bathroom. Also the bouncer called my ID weird. Rude. Donβt come here for a birthday.

Wish I had listened to these reviews instead of giving this place the benefit of the doubt! Came here tonight around 17:50 and it is by far the worst wetherspoons I've had this year if not in a long time! The floor is so sticky it's a wonder your feet are not permanently glued to the floor, the bar was empty but no staff available to serve me downstairs so went upstairs where it was quieter and more seats but was met with filthy unkempt tables drink spillages everywhere on them one girl serving upstairs where it wasn't that busy she didn't understand me very well despite me talking slowly and clearly what order I wanted from the menu she pushed me towards getting the pricier Christmas meal menu which didn't want I only wanted the classic beef burger meal Eventually got it paid for and sat down at a dirty table I cleaned myself staff I met upstairs the one who served me was unbothered not that welcoming Food arrived luke warm like it had been reheated and left out under a lamp all day long not even the flies thought it was worth eating! Burger looked OK bit was dreadful when I bit into it onions tasted off and chips were not hot just barely edible which confirmed my suspicions they'd been microwaved Only good thing worth consuming was the coke and I had to make sure that didn't come with ice so I had the full amount of my soft drink! Unfriendly atmosphere literally on the edge of my seat too tired to bother addressing the poor food quality when there was staff coming and going like yoyos and doubt they'd have replenished my meal if I had asked for it to be cooked properly! I came back to my hotel tonight and stomach started to hurt and is playing up now I know exactly why just a shame I wasted my time and money here eating limp undercooked tasteless "food" I wish I'd gone elsewhere and starved rather than go through stomach problems on the last night of my stay in Belfast! If you cant already tell from my review I wouldn't recommend save your money and go elsewhere plenty of other options wish I had looked more at reviews and gone with my gut instinct to avoid this place would've saved me from having a bad experience and a bit of money Pathetic excuse of a meal mcdonalds would've done me better

This was a brilliant pub to visit, having a sound atmosphere into the late nights of Belfast as the only Wetherspoons in the city! Yellow and orange colours create a pretty setting, pillars add to the architecture of the pub itself. Counter is well presented and I had some of the guest ales, as well as a pint of Guinness. Seating is comfortable with clean tables and Northern Irish Breakfast was tasty the next morning, definite highlight was the soda bread!

We were looking for a quick bait in Belfast and found The Bridge House. We ordered the cheese melt and the spicy chicken hamburgers, the chicken was not too spicy nice amount of chips and onion rings, the meat hamburger was overcooked, like it more juicy, it comes with a drink for Β£12 a piece is a steal!! The service is great, very amicable and attentive, the place was packed I guess because it was Sunday lunch but we find a table easily. Like the place. Will try their breakfast.

Stopped in for dinner when visiting Belfast for one night. Busy time of night (it was a Thursday night around 6-7pm). Tables were dirty (used dishes, spilled drinks, not wiped clean) and took 10-15 minutes to get cleaned after going to the bar to request cleanup. Ordering on app was easy enough - however, most of the cocktail drinks were listed as "unavailable, out of stock", even Pepsi was out of stock. Ordered Heineken for my partner and Captain Morgan with ginger ale for myself. Ordered cheese nachos, chicken bites and garlic bread for sharable food. 25 minutes and still no drinks or food. Partner went to bar and our drinks were on the bar waiting to be delivered, ice melted in my drink. Asked for drinks to be remade and my partner brought to table. Food arrived while he was gone. It was obvious that they had been sitting under heat lamp for a while. The cheese on the nachos had congealed and the nachos were one big clump (see photos). The chicken bites were edible, but very greasy. The garlic bread was thin piece of paper posing as a pizza crust with barely any butter brushed on it, much less any garlic. It was uncut and could not be cut with a knife easily or even torn into pieces. (again, see photos). All in all a very disappointing and unpleasant meal. We won't even get into the cleanliness of the bathrooms (eye roll). Obviously, we will not go again nor do we recommend.

Best pub in town, offering the widest varieties of drinks and food. At absolute bargain prices compared to other bars and pubs in the city. Best hangout place in Belfast.

Lively bar restaurant with cheap food and drinks. Everyone here seems to be enjoying the cheerful atmosphere of the store.

Great value for money with Guinness that's okay, but you're paying about Β£2 per pint less than other places. Quite busy and a good atmosphere. Went back on two more occasions. Good breakfast and pleasant service from Georgia

Excellent food at a reasonable price, the table we were at hadn't much moving space to get in/out of. Fast food service. Beer garden area outside for sections for smokers & non smokers. Couldn't find any downstairs toilets had to go back upstairs, not sure if there are some downstairs. Bit of a queue at the bar...

This place is massive and has seating out front, large downstairs area, an upstairs bar and seats along with a beer garden and smoking area. Ordered my usual Jack Daniels Chicken Strips and was not really impressed. The chips were piping hot but the chicken was warm with the breading not as crispy. Almost like the chicken was cooked a while before the chips where ready. Wasn't bad enough to send back but maybe I'm just too easy going. The Halloumi Fries were skinny and overcooked. They were more like Halloumi Crisps. Interior was a typical Wetherspoons where the carpets are not fresh looking due to the amount of patrons that frequent the places. Saying that, it wasn't dirty, just not clean and fresh either.
