   My first time at Millie’s kitchen and it did not disappoint. It was a lovely bar and restaurant, the atmosphere was nice and the food and service was fantastic. I’m gluten free and the staff could not do enough to accommodate me and there was plenty of options for me to choose from. The bill was very reasonable and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Would definitely recommend booking.

   A really busy buzzing bar, it was a Saturday that I was there, so really it should be. Good service, good infrastructure, good craic. I was at a private party, the buffet food was only ok, nothing bad, but nothing to shout about. Is it worth a visit? Yeh, nice bar and very well located.

   I rarely leave reviews, but our visit to Millie’s was honestly one of the most frustrating dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We waited over 40 minutes for our meals to arrive — far too long, especially considering the restaurant wasn’t even that busy at the time. By the time the food finally showed up, everyone at the table was restless and irritated. The kids’ “margherita pizza” was a complete joke. It was advertised as a proper pizza, but what we got was literally a piece of ciabatta bread with some tomato base smeared on it and two lonely slices of rubber cheese, not real cheese, melting off the sides. It looked thrown together in two minutes and had zero resemblance to what anyone would call a margherita pizza. My kids were so disappointed they didn’t even want to eat it. We decided to stick it out for dessert, hoping things would improve, but that turned out to be a mistake. We waited another hour before the desserts finally appeared — and when they did, it somehow got worse. The chocolate fudge dessert was cold, stale, and dry, like it had been sitting uncovered on a counter for hours. There was absolutely nothing fresh or indulgent about it; it felt like we were eating leftovers from the day before. For the prices they charge and the way they present themselves, this was a huge letdown. Between the excessive waiting times, the poor food quality, and the lack of care in presentation, it’s safe to say we won’t be returning — and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting a proper meal or good service.

   Shout out to Mairead for her professional friendly service on Saturday 30th August. Nothing was a bother to her.We had a great family 40th birthday party. The buffet was delicious. Definitely recommend.

   This is the most popular pub in this area. Once you walked into the pub, you could feel the Irish passion immediately with pleasant sounds of talking and laughing. A separate area was celebrating a special event. Night time there was an acoustic guitarist&singer giving entertainment. We ordered some drinks and food, unfortunately the steaks were not that great and price was acceptable. One of the waitress named Naomi was super helpful. 5 stars for her.

   This was the first time we were here.We had daube of beef with roast and cream potatoes and vegetables. For dessert I had hot chocolate fudge cake and my friend had jam +coconut sponge with custard. All the food was delicious hot and served quickly by the staff who were friendly and helpful and nothing was to much bother. We will definitely be back.

   We have used Millies on a number of occasions, and it is always came up trumps with both the food quality and the service. Needless to say we will be back in the future. Can't say much more than that for a recommendation. Plus giving both a 5 star mark.
