“I've eaten here a few times now with a group of friends and we have always had a fabulous time. The duck is the best I've ever eaten and my rare steak was perfect. The cocktails take a moment but are worth waiting for. There are usually six of us who eat together and a couple of them can be quite fussy but we regularly come back to Alcedo as we have never had a complaint from our group. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional.”

“Wonderful little brunch cafe with excellent food and friendly service! The cafe is nice, with a chilled out, relaxed feel to it. Lots of seating in the garden outside and some tables on the street at the front. The food is excellent. Very tasty. Full English was done very well with excellent quality sausages!”

“The food was so yummy but they really take their time bringing it out so you can have staggered meals...which then leads everyone to pick at the 1st meal that comes out lol. Fantastic take up of our club sandwich request which they made perfectly for hubby. Kids loved their spag bol. My toast with avo, Haloumi, spinach and chorizo was absolutely delicious.”

“OMG the food here is absolutely delicious, the best Sicilian food outside of Sicily! My husband and I travelled all across London to have breakfast at Tale'Ka' and we WILL do it again (and again, and again)! The savoury pastries (ham, cheese, spicy salami, wurstel) have the traditional flavour and texture you can find in a "rosticceria" in Sicily. And the pistachio cornetto is to die for! There is so much pistachio cream in the cornetto that I had to pick it up with a spoon! 5* and more! We look forward to visiting again and try everything else!”

“I’m a regular at Bluebell, and it’s one of my favourite places in London. The staff here are wonderful, they take extra care of you, always have a smile on their faces, and they really make you feel at home, even when you’re picking up a coffee to go. The food is, as always, amazing. I’m really glad I found Bluebell, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I bring all my friends here and they love it too!”

“We went to Asado on Wednesday evening, food was unbelievable, huge menu to chose from, each item received was delicious, Lipa served us with a smile and suggested best items on the menu, We are very much looking forward to returning to the restaurant soon best meal we have had in London for a long time, Moist tender cuts of meat severed with hand cooked chips… Warm Gooey Bapka with ice cream with Halva shavings…. Home made fruit sorbet and so much more.. Keep up the high quality and standards. Definitely worth going to Stamford Hill to eat in one of Londons finest restaurants. 10/10”

“Just spent a lovely afternoon at Bistro Marie, having lunch with our lovely neighbours. Julie our host, owner, cook & waitress was an absolute star. So friendly and ready to put together anything you like, she even popping out to get some extra bits and bobs. Fantastic food, very tasty. All round winner as far as I concerned. And I will be back. Oh, and one final thing, Julie will open outside of her stated hours, all you have to do is book. Lovely time all round.”
