   We had a wonderful meal there tonight. I had the chicken liver parfait to start, then I had the pork sausages with mash and gravy and an affogato to finish. It has a lovely atmosphere as it’s quiet and you’re able to talk with a little bit of background music which is very nice and the service was also very attentive. I definitely recommend a meal there either as a couple or with friends.

   An excellent three-course lunch with a friend whose partner is spending a short stay in Stanmore Hospital, just up the road. Easy to book, confirm, and most important, park the car cheaply just along the road in a two-hour (max) space using PayByPhone. Food was excellent. Very well presented and delicious to taste. Good wines and decent coffee after. Some photos uploaded. Thanks to all at the Bistro

   Really good, fresh tasting food - carefully curated dishes which deliver on balance, flavour and presentation. Main portions are quite big! The highlight of the night was the excellent service from Neha, who served us with a smile throughout. She is a gem!

   Highly recommend Bistro 101 for brunch or dinner. I’ve eaten dinner here on several occasions, and always found that there is an interesting selection of dishes on the menu and that the food is always consistently good. Lunchtime was no different with a good choice of brunch options available. I chose egg and avocado on sourdough toast, which was delicious. We were served by Nikki, who looked after us and delivered the food quickly and efficiently.

   The service is always wonderful, the restaurant is beautiful and the food is great. Definitely check out the specials. I tried the sea bass with the celeriac puree from the specials menu and it was amazing.

   Went for New Years Eve dinner. Absolutely exquisite. Any observations are really nominal as all six courses were lovely and the ladies serving charming. Nice that Chef came to say hello too. Could have done with some parmesan with the ravioli and maybe more water inbetween courses. That said the wine choices with each course were fabulous, lovely environment of a small restaurant, maybe a little warm, but overall great evening and good value considered. Good luck with this new venture, you deserve a great success!!
