   I really wanted to love the roast, but it really had no flavour besides rosemary and herbs even the gravy was lacking. I get a roast shouldn’t be overly seasoned but I’ve never had a roast with barely any flavour but herbs. The cook on the chicken roast was brilliant it wasn’t dry or anything such a shame about the flavour. I hope you guys continue to experiment and try new flavours.

   First time coming here, the customer service was great. Food arrival we didn't have to wait that long. For starters we had the humous with bread which came with butter and vinegar, first time having humous like that which was very nice. I had the sirloin steak as you can see from the photos it was a lovely cut and cooked to perfection, along with peppercorn sauce and triple cooked chips which I would've preferred a bigger portion of the chips, especially as you have to pay extra for it. My friends had a mix roast of both lamb and chicken which they enjoyed and the portion sizes were good. For dessert we had the pistachio and coconut cheesecake which was beautiful would highly recommend. The only negative was the mojito I had passion with mint they had over powered it with lime which made it very bitter to enjoy. As a whole I would recommend and it wasn't a busy place & nicely decorated.

   Food was absolutely delicious! Peppercorn sauce and steak was amazing, chicken and king prawn tagliatelle was delicious! The Coconut and pistachio cheesecake is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. It’s a little on the pricier side considering the sides and extras have to be paid separately. Raheela was the most helpful server, really tailored to our every need and went above and beyond! Perfect hostess for the evening and a credit to Tarragon Bistro!

   The saying big surprises in small packages comes to mind... Tarragon Bistro is a cozy restaurant with a very nice feel and ambience. All the food here is Halal, which is hard to come by for a fully Halal Bistro... The food from starters to dessert were excellent.... Top Class.... The food was cooked to perfection, i really could not find anything wrong with the food..... My Compliments to the Chef.... The drinks were nice but could have been a bit better, a bit more sharper... The food courses were presented very well and the timings were excellent between courses... It was well worth the 42+ miles i travelled from Leicester to come here... I highly recomend Tarragon Bistro to all, come and enjoy this fabulous restaurant......

   Great little addition to the south Birmingham food scene. We got the lamb cutlets and scallops to start, both were excellent. Lamb was seasoned well and not overdone like most places, very tender. For mains we ordered a selection of steaks including fillet and rib eye. Both were excellent and cooked medium, exactly how we asked for. The blue cheese and the peppercorn sauce were also just right. Lamb shank was very tender with plenty of herbs and spices. Finally we tried the duck for something different, this paired well with the dauphinoise potatoes. A little on the pricy side when considering steaks do not come with sauce. Did not order desserts this time but will be back again, definitely recommend you pay this place a visit.

   First time visiting this gem, after discovering it online and had a fantastic experience. Customer service is exceptional the waiter and waitress paid attention to our every need and went out of their way to make our children feel comfortable and welcome which is rare in fine dining eateries. To find a halal place that does food of this quality is much appreciated and we hope to come back very soon. The food was exceptional and presented with care and attention as you can see in the pictures. We really enjoyed the squid and Turkey roast. And the panna cotta was perfect. Thankyou for the fine dining experience and for being halal :)

   This restaurant is exactly what Birmingham was missing! Finally, a halal high quality bistro. The food was simply delicious and cooked to perfection, made freshly in house, the service was great, the food came out very quickly, and the ambience and mood is just perfect for a quiet and classy evening out. We look forward to coming back again and again.
