We had an excellent experience at Brown’s. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared with care and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and truly enhanced the dining experience. A special mention goes to Michael, our server, who was simply outstanding. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, courteous in every interaction, and impressively prompt. His professionalism and genuine hospitality elevated our visit and made it memorable. Brown’s is a place where great food, a wonderful setting, and exceptional service come together seamlessly. Highly recommended!

Went here yesterday for a sunday roast and the experience wasn’t what i’m used to at browns. We had a reservation and were seated with no issues but before we could even look at the drinks menu someone came to take our drinks order. We asked for one draft beer, one cocktail, and water for the table. It took around 15 minutes to get our drinks, and the water did not come until halfway through eating our meal. It took so long for the drinks to come that someone came to take our food order before they even arrived. The server did apologise for the wait when bringing the drinks, however. The food came quickly and was nice, however the second i put my cutlery down on my plate, the server came to ask if she could clear the plates. There was still a good amount of food on my plate. The server then came by almost immediately after to ask if we wanted dessert. We weren’t sure if we did, and the way that the server asked didn’t make it an option to just look at the menu and decide if we wanted dessert without committing, so we said no. She then asked if we wanted another drink, to which we declined. Although we still had some of our original drinks left, she then asked if we wanted the bill. I appreciate they were quite busy when we walked in, however, by the time we had finished eating the restaurant was around 1/4 empty with no one waiting so it didn’t appear they needed the table. There were also a few tables where people had left that hadn’t been cleared. The whole experience was extremely rushed and not what I have been used to when dining at any Browns restaurant. It seemed that the restaurant was under staffed, however, the table we sat on was below the clock behind the piano by the kitchen, and did not need to be put out and set up if they could not accommodate it being offered to a dining party. There were also other tables that could have not been set up, to make sure that only the amount of people that could be served well would be able to make reservations.

A fabulous restaurant in the middle of Birmingham. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented and didn't disappoint in taste. They have an extensive drinks menu with seasonal cocktails. The only thing that let the place down was the toilets. Two out of the three ladies toilets were out of order and meant the women had to use the gents, which weren't very nice. This would be my only criticism and im sure it is only a temporary situation. On the whole, definitely worth a visit, ( although a little pricey).

The hospitality and food are excellent. The waiters are friendly to serve and accommodate your experience. The prawn and meat buns are recommended. They serve the buns after breakfast times, which is after 11.30 am. Definitely try them on your first visit here.

I've just enjoyed a lovely two course dinner at Brown's Restaurant, Birmingham, my second visit this week! Nice atmosphere, delicious, fresh food presented very well (the scallops were outstanding!) and very friendly, hard working, and helpful staff. The manageress was lovely, very interesting to chat to, and happy to have time for her customers. An excellent customer experience. Highly recommend a visit.

There are beautiful views out of the window - the church and the Selfeidges. The Breakfast was very good. To my surprise, there was tofu and spinach. It's very nice with salt and pepper. Their signature dish is lobster eggs, but they do not offer it today. Try again next time.
