“A basic Marstons Pub, so generaly competent, but no Michelin stars. What sets it apart from the rest are the staff, who just do their job properly, which is more than you can say for a lot of places nowadays. Everything just seems effortless. Recommended.”

“Cherry Reds is a hidden gem! Lovely traditional Cafe Bar with nice decor and a cosy atmosphere. Menu selection is extensive and includes a wide variety of vegan/vegetarian options alongside traditional English food and drinks. The Diddy Breakfast was excellent quality and tasted delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. An added bonus is the selection of cask and keg ales available. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Birmingham!”

“Visited at the weekend during a busy period. We've eaten here many times before and its always been lovely, so the visit was disappointing. My daughter and I both ordered well-done sirloin steak, but both were extremely tough, chewy, and hard to cut, making them unenjoyable. The dish was also missing the tomato garnish. While the waitress was polite, the explanation given didn't really address the issue. However, the manager was amazing - very understanding and professional. Service overall was good, and the deserts were absolutely first class. We hope this was just a one-off, as previous visits have been excellent.”

“We had a wedding nearby. Shame we were only there for a nights stay and breakfast the following day. The place is lovely we would have loved to experience more. Nights stay was comfortable, breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly and if we come to the area again we shall re-visit.”

“A lovely summer evening overlooking the river! The menu is great with lots of options. I had the hanging chicken kebab which was gorgeous. I really enjoyed it and the portion sizes were very generous. Staff were all really friendly and attentive. Our fur baby Teddy even had his own menu, he had his own doggy friendly beer and pork scratchings, it’s such a fun idea. We can also recommend the cheesecake, delicious! Thank you to the Holt Fleet team, we will be returning soon. I cannot recommend enough!”

“We stopped by this lovely family-run pub on our way to the Pumpkin Patch, and it turned out to be a wonderful find. Even though the place was quite busy and we didn’t have a booking, the owner kindly arranged a table for the two of us, our child, and the pram, making sure we were comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—truly a family-oriented pub. A friendly lady, who seemed to be part of the family, served our food and made us feel right at home with her cheerful conversation and sense of humor. We had driven all the way from Birmingham, and pubs like this are hard to come by in our area. The food was absolutely delicious; my lamb shank was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, and my husband really enjoyed his lamb dish as well. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for such high-quality food and service. We’ll definitely be coming back, especially during the festive season. Highly recommended!”

“We have been going to pizza by goli for years! The food is always spot on with service to match. We normally go to Sutton Coldfield but tried The Lichfield restaurant last night which was great. We were served by Danielle who really looked after our evening but we were sad to find out at the end that any gratuity could only be cash (nobody carries cash). Please bear this in mind as the food is great but the serving staff were fantastic also.”

“Love Ronnies pizza are so good the base is the best. Now serving Roasts on a Sunday too. The beef and pork were cooked to perfection. Great local business bringing quality & flavour to our area. New venue which is really big & open can’t wait to see the space & buisness grow even further”

The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. “I had dinner with my supplier at this restaurant, this was my second visit in 2 years and I must say it hasn't changed a bit! Food is amazing! Service is excellent, staff always happy to help! Deffo a place to visit! Keep in mind, from what I have gathered..... This is a very busy restaurant.”

“I'm so glad we chose to go here for lunch and would definitely want to visit again. The atmosphere was lovely, nice decor and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious. My friend got the pitta, lovely fresh bread and smelled delicious. I got the kebab with salad and naan. The kebab was amazing. It was bursting with flavour and the salad and fresh tasting naan on the side was perfect. The prices are very reasonable and they don't overcharge on drinks like many places. Highly recommend.”

“Double smash burgers are lovely and the keema beef loaded fries are 10/10. Food is always nice, hot and well cooked. Service is great and always on time. Lovely restaurant only down fall is the price but so worth every penny”

“A very warm welcome from staff. Very busy but great atmosphere. Served by Lauren, who was courteous, friendly and efficient, with great customer skills. Nothing was too much trouble. She's a credit to the establishment. Food was served timely, presented well and was delicious, with attention to detail. It was a family birthday celebration, enhanced by a candle on the birthday girl's dessert. All in all, a great experience.”

“Been wanting to try the food here since seeing Matts videos on Facebook. We had to travel from County Durham to Basingstoke today so decided to detour purely for a Sunday Roast. The food is amazing. Nice and fresh and the red cabbage is out of this world! I had a standard gammon roast and my husband had a large trio of meats, which he struggled to finish. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much. We will definitely be back”

The food was brilliant and so full of flavour, compared to the standard mixed grill pubs this was definitely top quality food. I highly recommend the butter chicken and the chilli naan to go with it. “What a great experience! I was a little uncertain given the odd review mentioning service problems with smaller groups. We were a table of 4 . My fears were quickly dispelled by a really good and well organised front of house team. We particularly liked Victoria’s attentive and charismatic charm throughout the evening. This was our first visit to Bank and we’re delighted with the menu. Really good starters in fact they were exceptional. Fish was tasty and beautifully cooked. We all enjoyed the cocktails and the setting over the canal was lovely. Personally I do think the meals are good value give the quality of the produce the presentation and location. We will have to return if we are in the area again but will have to try the other restaurants within the chain when possible. Thanks to the team for lovely evening. “Really cool place, great atmosphere and lovely tapas and pizza selection. 4 of us picked 14 tapas to share, so almost the menu. Good drinks selection and a great place to eat or just have a few drinks, will definitely be back. Staff really friendly and didn’t rush us as we where the last table in the place 10/10”
