Food was so good and the service was amazing, staff were attentive and really helpful with explaining the menu. They also offer takeaway options too. Special shoutout to Jhuzmine for explaining the menu and the chef Alex too and the amazing female server who looked after our table (I forgot to get her name) the service was really great. Would absolutely recommend.

Really great food! Lots of choice even if fish isnt your thing. Perfect location for a date night. Just make sure to explain allergies to them fully.

Delicious freshly cooked Japanese food. You order 3 main dishes each round and have all you can eat for the 2 hours slot for around £33. You can order as many sides as you like. Drinks not included but Sake was nice at £5.50 for a small bottle. Lovely staff and great service!!

I visited Kyoto Sushi & Grill for the first time and had a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious — I tried a variety of dishes and enjoyed every round. The system is really unique: you pay around £33+ per person and get 4 rounds to order from the menu. In each round, you select your dishes, and they prepare everything fresh and bring it straight to your table. It’s not a buffet — it’s made to order, and the quality shows. You eat at your own pace, and when you’re ready, you move on to the next round. The staff were amazing — friendly, attentive, and quick. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, making the whole experience even better

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Birmingham! The food here is absolutely delicious — we come regularly and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. A special mention to Yan, who always looks after us and makes us feel like special guests every time we visit. Highly recommended!

Been a few times before pandemic. Menu has changed and prices have increased for the buffet. Buffet selection has decreased and you now order 2 items (as opposed to upto 5) per person, hover the portion sizes have doubled. You can order "unlimited" sides. The quality of the food is good, but certain things have gone, such as steak and duck. Salmon and some prawn dishes are still available. Lots of chicken dishes. We as a family use to look forward to visiting there, but the price increase and, more importantly, the selection of dishes were disappointing. Service was good and dishes did come out at a good pace. Not sure if it's worth the price anymore.

Some much needed improvements have been implemented from previous visits. Staff are courteous and much Cleaner than previous visits. Speed of the food arriving is fair. Fair price for the quality of food on offer. But it has increased by nearly 30% from pre COVID times. With the same dressing drizzled all over the different dishes, every dish somewhat eventually tastes the same. There's no option to have no dressing or no seasoning. Over all, it was much better than my previous visit and I was surprised in a good way by the overall experience.

Simply sublime! What A Sushi restaurant should be! About the quality of the product, little more, you can add, subtract, but the seafood is the superstar! The other items on the menu do not feel lost at all, superbly cooked, charred, grilled, to your taste, simply put, a masterclass in how food should be given to you to eat all round!!! Can NOT WAIT TO GO BACK! And we Will. Time and time again!!!! The staff, polite, helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable, just the right balance. AMAZING!!!!!! Our new favourite restaurant!!! Thank you to all who where there, for a night that will live long in our memory.

We always enjoy coming here for the all you can eat menu. We’ve enjoyed the updated menu to give more variety. The staff continue to be friendly and prompt, and the food is wonderfully fresh and very tasty. The all you can eat menu is fantastic value for money. Our favourite dishes are the sushi nigiri and rolls (luxury set), avocado and seaweed salad, gyoza, and sweet buns. It’s our favourite Japanese restaurant in Birmingham.
