Would have loved to try out the breakfast in this place, looks lovely from the outside. Web site states opens at 0q9 30 on a Sunday morning, well no, waited from 09.30 till 10.00, nothing. Ate elsewhere ( a lovely little cafe in,High Town, Millies). Came back past Ridleys at 11.15, still no. Great shame as other people looking through windows and at there watches.

We can’t wait to go again! Today was our first visit to Ridley’s, we sat down just by the river with the sun on our faces listening to the sounds of the river passing, which was very relaxing. On meeting the owner, I could tell she is extremely customer service focused and was truly only wanting the very best for her customers which she surely delivered on during our visit. On reading the menu we found the prices to be very cheap however the quality of the food didn’t reflect on the cheap prices they were charging as the food was just fantastic. When I pointed this out to the owner, she told me she believes in keeping the prices low so it is affordable to all which I thought was really nice. We just wanted a light lunch. We went for the large cheese burger, fries and the Ham roll. It was all amazing. Very tasty and well presented. If I say ‘we can’t wait to go again’ you will know how much we highly rate this one. Edit: 5/9/24 After 2 more visits at the weekend, unfortunately the two ladies who work on the bar are not as welcoming as the owner was on our first visit. Still a loverly place and great food but just needs the weekend staff bringing up to standard.

We had an amazing private party for my brothers 30th birthday! Ridley’s were brilliant with organising it with us and the venue was amazing! Perfect place for a party with a great space both downstairs and upstairs! Was a such a good night! Thank you!

Since my last visit 3 months ago I was very disappointed with the breakfast that was served up the price had gone up considerably and the quantity was reduced we certainly won't be going back there for breakfast. The price of coffee has gone up as well. also the loyalty card no longer exists, since the name changed so did the atmosphere change I had been going there for many years but no more unfortunately

Fab little bar on the river. Over the Easter weekend, I have been there a few times - for a quick drink prior to going elsewhere for a meal, a late night drink as seemingly the latest place open on Good Friday (until 02:30am) and finally for a meal on Easter Monday. We both had a standard size pie with mash and mushy peas. Great that you can choose from about 6 different mashes and 5 different pies. We had steak and ale pie, cheesy mash and mushy peas and steak and stilton, garlic mash and mushy peas. Very filling and good value
