“This is long term review. I had ‘no sound’ issue in my lexus car which lexus misdiagnosed as wiring issue. Guy at muby did the correct diagnosis first and then ordered refurbished amplifier and fitted that for me. Really cool guy as he explained the problem to me and also advised me on what to do in future to prevent this happening again.”

“I visited Halfords, Selly Oak on Friday 21st November at around 3pm. I had travelled up to Birmingham the night before from Dorset (3.5 hours) with no heating in my car. After advice from my garage at home I went to Halfords to buy coolant as on checking, the tank was empty. I was helped firstly by a lovely gentleman on the customer service desk, who identified the correct coolant for my car and promptly went off to find it for me. He asked another member of staff to come and check that I was safely opening the tank and putting the coolant into the correct level. All this was done with kindness and thoughtfulness, no judgement and with just the right amount of humour to lighten a stressful day. Thank you to the two members of staff, I'm sorry I didn't get your names, but you really put a smile on my face and made the journey home much easier, especially as I now had heating!!.”

The member of staff I was served by Went out of his way to help me and I also saved a fiver on the item because I recently joined the halfords motoring club which was a bonus. Cannot speak highly enough of the member of staff who served me so excellent service. I would definitely recommend halfords Bordesley green branch. Birmingham. “I don't usually review stores like Argos because they're pretty generic HOWEVER... I had an eBay order to collect, I forgot I ordered and didn't see the notification for delivery, I remembered last night and popped along to collect this morning. The holding time expired at 0100 this morning, Gail the lady serving me found my package, was holding it but unable to let me have because it wasn't on the system. Gail the absolute legend that she is managed to relist it in the system so she could release it to us. 100% top score for customer service”

“Big thanks to Karen for her help!! I bought a mobile from Argos at the end of Feb 2024. It had an intermittent fault with call quality that I thought would be fixed by a software upgrade. It wasn't, so I got my carrier to check the line and for the phone manufacturer to give me any suggestions for fixing the problem. The line was fine and the manufacturer's "fixes" didn't work. I decided to go to my local Argos store, in July, to see how they could remedy it. I spoke to Karen who understood the problem and suggested that I brought the phone into the shop with all accessories and delivery note. I also spoke to Hassan who made some sensible suggestions as to what I could try to get it working. I took the phone in and Karen checked if the phone was repairable. It wasn't. She offered me an exchange or refund. I've bought many items from Argos over the years but have never returned anything. I'd expected some difficulty because it was 5 months since I'd originally bought the phone. Karen made the process easy and treated me kindly and professionally. I'm very grateful and remain a happy Argos customer.”

“Went on Saturday with my severe needle phobia (long history) daughter who desperately wanted her belly button pierced. We’ve been somewhere else where it was a no go. Called The Maxx after hearing good things about them. Popped in at told to do, Wow (I think it was Tash) was amazing, so understanding, patient and caring, talked and explained everything to my daughter, told her we’ll go your speed when your ready, it took 3 attempts but she did it, my daughter was crying with joy. “This shop was amazing. Went in today as we were visiting brum, came out with so much knowledge and a better vape set up. The worker (Jack/Jay) was amazing. So easy to talk to and extremely helpful. We had been havin issues with my partners vapes for months n nothing worked, been to various shops and always ended up with the same issue. Jack knew exactly what to do and advised us how to go forward. Honestly the best vape assistant I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting he really helped us and had great conversation.
