   Went to make a purchase from this store at 4:20pm Christmas eve (advertised as open till 5pm on this day) to find about 20 people stood outside with a man dressed as an elf telling everyone the store was closed due to 'safety issues'. Looking through the massive windows I couldn't see anything one would consider dangerous, just some customers already in the store waiting to collect ther purchases. I did feel sorry for people who had made click and collect purchases who were now unable to collect, with some of these maybe being last minute Christmas gifts. In my opinion the Elf man should have been perhaps dressed as Scrooge. Merry Christmas.

   Worse Argos ever. One person on tills and with 4 people in front had to wait over 20 mins. And then product said it will be available in 6 mins. It took 40 mins! An absolutely horrible experience

   Absolutely crap customer service! Waiting the queue for the past 15 mins 2 tills opened then the 1 till worker decides to walk off at the back would you not care to serve your customers first? How very poor considering it being in city centre

   Poor service, took ages to get one product sent down. When I enquired how much longer I would need to wait, the guy said I just have to wait for it to come down. He didn't ask what product it was or enquired upstairs

   This branch, like others under the useless ownership of Sainsbury's, has ended up like a market stall. This has been my local branch for a very long time. The huge branch used to be on Priory Queensway but closed down after decades of being the biggest branch in the city centre. Where I fondly remember watches and jewellery in the glass cabinets, there is now clearance items which looks tacky. It is my opinion that standards and the amazing selection of items has been ruined by Sainsbury's. Well at least my visit today was good. Manager Saad and the polite older west Indian lady were pleasant and friendly. The purchase of a jug instore and collection of an online order was dealt with fairly quickly and with professionalism. I would recommend this branch of Argos to others if in the area and in need of the type of items that Argos sells.

   Really poor service with negative attitude. I bought a earbuds, its not quite good and suitable for me, thus I required to return and refund. A female staff told me with chilly attitude: we cannot refund, cuz we cannot resale it. Then i explained the question is I wont know the product is good for me if I didnot open it, even I bought it from other retailers, i still got right to return. But the staff just told me oh its others warranty, not mine (very very intemperate and bad tone).. The policy is not my focused, even I cannot get the refund. However, the service attitude is really really horrible!!!!

   Joe the manager was great. He helped with such a difficult task twice and fixed my issues efficiently. Thankyou Joe. Remell helped me when I need an item replaced and was really sweet. Lorraine helped me when I needed a voucher redeemed since I was quite new. Thankyou so much guys, Argos head office give these people a raise.

   Item I purchased had been tampered with and sellotaped together. Items were missing when I counted. I will be requesting a refund and won’t be using that branch of Argos again
