“Served in the fragrance counter by the amazing Grace !!! 100% needs a raise. Went in with three points; unisex, vanilla, not too sweet. Grace showed us the scent at the counter she was manning but when she saw that we weren't fully satisfied, walked us to another counter and sprayed the scent that literally was exactly what we wanted. Saved us 40 minutes and ensured it wasnt a wasted journey. A scent we wouldn't have even noticed otherwise and she knew exactly what we needed. Honestly would've tipped if I could!! Thank you so much Grace.”

“Today i came in with my mildly autistic son to get a particular garten of ban ban toy, you had ran out but a young lad named Ryan tried to find one but when he couldnt allowed my son to take the empty box, which made my sons day. Top class customer service and a credit to yourselves and his parents. Thank you very much Ryan”

“My mother has been shopping at O&P Fashions since before I was born. We would get all our outfits from Auntie Beena's store back in the 80's and 90's. As me and my sister are both married and live in the south now we tend to shop else where. Last year I came home and mum said let's go to Beena's as i needed suits for myself my daughters and my mother inlaw. Honestly I had forgotten how much I loved this store and the clothing. They have so much choice and something for each age group. Since then if I see anything on line I either ask my mum to pick it up or as I did yesterday I purchased on line. The suit I purchased is absolutely stunning and it was sent next day, so I received it this morning and I'm so pleased with it. The girls are so helpful and so on it with every detail ( i forgot about linning) . So thank you, I love shopping with them as its like a bit of home for me.”

“This little Greek restaurant may be difficult to find as it's situated within the food hall on the ground floor of Selfridges. The wife and I had a very enjoyable meal here coupled with friendly and efficient service. Hard to fault. Update: Until today's visit, whilst the food was OK sadly the service was a bit of a shambles. Apparently two staff didn't turn up. However I have never had a problem here before and the manager apologised profusely and made a generous gesture. Things can go wrong and I have to give them credit for how they tried to put it right. We'll be back.”

“I don't usually review stores like Argos because they're pretty generic HOWEVER... I had an eBay order to collect, I forgot I ordered and didn't see the notification for delivery, I remembered last night and popped along to collect this morning. The holding time expired at 0100 this morning, Gail the lady serving me found my package, was holding it but unable to let me have because it wasn't on the system. Gail the absolute legend that she is managed to relist it in the system so she could release it to us. 100% top score for customer service”

“Big thanks to Karen for her help!! I bought a mobile from Argos at the end of Feb 2024. It had an intermittent fault with call quality that I thought would be fixed by a software upgrade. It wasn't, so I got my carrier to check the line and for the phone manufacturer to give me any suggestions for fixing the problem. The line was fine and the manufacturer's "fixes" didn't work. I decided to go to my local Argos store, in July, to see how they could remedy it. I spoke to Karen who understood the problem and suggested that I brought the phone into the shop with all accessories and delivery note. I also spoke to Hassan who made some sensible suggestions as to what I could try to get it working. I took the phone in and Karen checked if the phone was repairable. It wasn't. She offered me an exchange or refund. I've bought many items from Argos over the years but have never returned anything. I'd expected some difficulty because it was 5 months since I'd originally bought the phone. Karen made the process easy and treated me kindly and professionally. I'm very grateful and remain a happy Argos customer.”

“Ross and the team were very helpful from initial contact to completion. Planning was thorough, Ross helped us make use of all available space. Even at the installation stage an additional slimline cupboard, that would have been dead space, was added at our request. The timescale provided was stuck too. “The staff are very friendly and professional, it reminds me of the excellent service that you used to get in a department store. This particular Lakeland is the type of place you can go in and ask the staff for help and advice and they genuinely want to help you. The goods all seem very good quality and the 3 year warranty gives you plenty of confidence buying. Not the cheapest place but things seem built to last.”
