   This is my third time at James Bushell with Coleone, and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else! I haven’t had a single bad experience while being here and I’m always happy with the results. Coleone always makes the effort to talk me through the process, asking me what I’d like done and what the outcome may be like. She also makes sure to check that I’m okay throughout our appointment. I feel so comfortable here and I couldn’t ask for anymore.

   From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Sunny really listens to what I want and offers great advice, and the end result was even better than I imagined. The salon was clean, relaxing, and professional, and the attention to detail was excellent. I left feeling confident and refreshed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great service and amazing results! The mailbox is easy to get to and also has plenty of parking.

   I took a long time to find the perfect professional hair cutter and stylist and Sunny is it. He always makes me feel amazing and what’s more- he’s become a friend as he’s brilliantly funny and just great. The wonderful Merhan (apologies if spelt wrong- I’ve only ever heard it!) does my colour and I always get tons of compliments. What’s more the atmosphere at the salon is relaxed and pampering- it’s my favourite place.

   Delal is an amazing stylist who understood exactly the colour I was hoping for, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the result. She really knows how to work with my hair — and with it being super long and very thick, that’s no easy task! When I heard that Regis in Birmingham city centre had shut down, I was gutted. It took me a while to find Delal again, but I’m so glad I did. She’s done an incredible job!

   Cannot fault the customer service. Made me feel welcomed and comfortable. However, I am sorry to say that it may be the worst blow dry I’ve had in a long time. There were patches in my hair which were still curly and had been missed during the blow dry. The stylist did not take the time to check that he had done all sections of my hair. It’s a shame because I thought I would pay extra to get a better quality blow dry and the service was great. I frequently get a blow dry but I will not be returning.

   I went to get a haircut a few days ago. The staff where amazing and very kind. I explained in details and showed pictures of what i wanted. I didn’t get what i asked for, so i went back in to have more layers in the front part of my hair. But instead she basically gave me full layers at the back of my hair. I lost soo much length and thickness in my hair. My hair feels so weak and thin although i asked for it to be cut in a way that makes it look thick and fuller. I’m absolutely heartbroken. I hate it. I think that they are not experienced in cutting thick curly hair. I’m gonna try my best to grow it out now.

   I used the salon for the first time today 27 July 22 and had my hair cut and styled by the lovely Libby. She did a fantastic job, she listened and totally understood what I was aiming for and she didn’t disappoint. She also did my skin test for colour however, as they didn’t have an available appointments at the Harvey Nichols salon she went out of her way to source an appointment for me at their Edgbaston salon in time for my weekend away! Every member of staff at the salon were very friendly and made me feel at ease and comfortable, I cannot wait for my future appointments here. I actually lost count of the times I was asked whether I wanted a drink, this really showed how caring all the staff are here! Manjit

   I had my haircut initially by Libby here before the pandemic. She gave me the best cut I’ve ever had and I got so many compliments afterwards. I had the pleasure to come back again today to have my hair cut by Libby and also have my hair coloured by Mehran. Libby gave me yet another great cut and Mehran did a brilliant job with the way she did my colour. Its subtle and is the best colour I’ve had to date also. I’m really looking forward to coming back and booking in with them both to continue my venture towards long hair. I like the fact they work in mind with what best suits the client and are honest in their professional opinions as to what will look good on you and what won’t. Before I wasn’t a fan of hairdressers as often I felt out of place but I feel welcome and at home in this salon. It’s definitely my regular now! I’m excited to book back in again!
