We turned up as a party of 8 and wasn’t sure we would get a table but we did and we are so glad we did! The staff were all amazing and very friendly! The wait times were minimal and what can I say about the food well just beautiful very fresh and delicious,portion sizes are perfect! We will definitely be eating there again very soon.
Absolutely brilliant place, I really can’t praise it enough. Food is outstanding and excellent value for money, I’ve been twice this week and booked a table again for the weekend, by far the best place for food locally. The Staff and the new owner Rob are brilliant, he makes you feel very welcome and makes sure that everything is spot on for you. I very strongly recommend anyone to go and try The White Hart!
Took kids here last night as it’s close to us, met by four of the most polite, helpful & friendly waitresses I’ve ever met they are a credit to the white hart followed by amazing food said by all six of us. Huge puddings and a reasonable bill. Hidden Gem here want to go back again today already. Well done
Visited for Sunday Lunch. £18 one course, £24 two course and £30 three course. If two people have three course you get a free? bottle of wine. We all had roast beef. Generous amount of meat and variance of veg including home made Yorkshire’s and cauliflower cheese. Was delicious, almost as good as mine! Tad pricey but wasn’t disappointed.
The food here was absolutely fantastic! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Although the coffee machine was out of order today, each staff member came to have a small chat and asked how the food was. I really enjoyed it here, I totally would recommend coming here as the food is really nice! The cheesecake of the day was Raspberry Cheesecake and it was very creamy and smooth. Even the lasagna was good and everything was as I would expect. If you want a nice evening or afternoon out, definitely come here! You won't regret it!
Popped in here 2 weeks ago for a Sunday lunch, service was good and the meal was probably one of the best Sunday lunches we have had. It took a while to arrive but understand why as it was all freshly cooked, not your normal carvery affair. So thought we'd pop in today to try the normal menu and it was again superb, the carbonara was fantastic, and the young lady behind the bar was very good. Can't understand how anyone can give this place 1*, having only been here twice it is a hidden jem and we will defiantly return. Well priced and all cooked to order.
I have never wrote a food review before. This picture shows the special Herefordshire beef patty of my wife's not so beef burger, The staff ("I'll add rudely") say that's our Herefordshire beef patty's. (they did offer another one but told my wife it will b exactly the same as this one) safe to say she didn't fancy another one. I'm no food expert but there were no beef in between the buns of this burger ,,,no taste /texture or smell of beef. Seemed like breadcrumbs and maybe sweede (looked and tasted like baby food). Ate here many times (day and evening menu) over the years and its always been just OK. This time however was awful. This review page won't let me reply to the reply so I'll just pop it here in an edit of my original review. Thank u for the reply and kind gesture of offering a revisit and free meal i most definitely didn't do a review to get a free meal or money back, I also understand u wasn't there when the issue happened. Booked for our 26th anniversary, never been before. They made it an amazing evening. A card waiting on our table and Prosecco to start! Food was lovely. Staff so helpful. To top it all off a wonderful anniversary brownie, can’t thank you enough.
