   We had the meatballs and a cheese garlic bread for starter and for main Angelo Burro e Rosmarino and Filetto Dolcelatte for main and WOW! So tender and flavoursome! So impressed. Me and my partner both gave had our fair share of hospitality and restaurant experiences and honestly this food and service was amazing! The mains in particular were beautiful and the sauces they were paired with were perfection! We will be back asap!

   I’ve always liked the food at Pizza by Goli in Lichfield, but my recent visit was disappointing. As we were finishing our meal, the staff turned the coffee machine off before we had even left. It gave us the uncomfortable feeling that we were being rushed out, even though we weren’t told directly. The rest of the meal was fine, but ending the evening that way felt unwelcoming. A bit more communication or courtesy would have made a big difference. To spend over £500 on a meal and not even be able to get a coffee at the end is diabolical. This isn’t the first time we have had a bad experience here. We had a 21st birthday where they were given a cake to store in a cold area as it was chocolate. By time we got to the cake it was pretty much melted. We had to be called into the kitchen to fix our own cake because they had failed to follow simple instruction of keeping it cool. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

   We have been going to pizza by goli for years! The food is always spot on with service to match. We normally go to Sutton Coldfield but tried The Lichfield restaurant last night which was great. We were served by Danielle who really looked after our evening but we were sad to find out at the end that any gratuity could only be cash (nobody carries cash). Please bear this in mind as the food is great but the serving staff were fantastic also.

   Been here three times now and it's been perfect every single time. The pizzas are delicious, plenty of toppings and huge. Also, the chocolate and pistachio cake is incredible! Very friendly staff

   Pizza by Goli offers an authentic pizza experience with a good, well made dough and flavors that are enjoyable, though not particularly memorable. While the pizza is the highlight, the pasta dishes are fairly average and don’t leave much of an impression. The restaurant itself is quite small, which can make it feel a bit cramped, especially during busy times. It’s a decent spot for a casual meal, but nothing that stands out enough to make it a must visit.

   Excellent Italian food and staff, had a great night there, if there is one area that needs addressing it would be the gent’s toilets as it was not flushing properly, but that aspect did not spoil the night, and would definitely go again.

   Just ordered as have never tried here despite living down the road many years! Wish I had not have bothered! The cannelloni was tiny and the sauce tasted like a 39p jar from a supermarket, the calzone was just an absolute mess the filling was just dumped in and nothing tasted fresh, the chips were undercooked and frankly the type you would get from a cheap burger van for about £1, will not bother again...highly disappointing

   The food is generally nice, though a little overpriced. The downstairs area always looks lovely, cosy and inviting, but for some reason we always get seated upstairs where there is no atmosphere at all!!!

   As a party of three, we enjoyed three different pizzas, each beautifully cooked and delicious. Also three different desserts, equally tasty. Didn't have to wait too long for the meals to be served. Staff uniformly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Can highly recommend, will definitely return next time we are in Lichfield.
