An amazing restaurant/bar, really nice food and service. We were always asked if everything is okay, you don’t get that many Michelin Star restaurants! Credit to the team and well deserved feedback! Keep it up and don’t let the big boys spoil you, keep authentic and family driven!
Went for a meal with my wife, something we don't often get to do what with jobs / kids / pets / life. I've got to say we had a fab night out, we got there early, we had 6.30 reservations, we got there 5.45ish, hoping to have a drink at the bar, it was packed, but that just added to the atmosphere. we got our drinks at the bar and advised the lady we had a reservation, she said our table was free and to take a seat. It was comfortable and warm in there, we were seen straight away and had some more drinks and ordered our starters and mains. We got our starters without delay. The mains followed, I have to say 10/10 for the meal, I had the fish & chips, pretty basic you might say, but when done to perfection, you can't complain. as we finished up and paid the bill, we agreed on one thing, we would definitely come back here again. Well done to all at Platform Three for a job well done.
My partner and I have recently visited Platform Three a few nights back after it was recommended to us. We always looked for places that have a warm and welcoming environment. The food we had was exceptional and the waiting and bar staff did a wonderful job of looking after us before and after our meal even though they were very busy, they couldn’t of done more for us. I would very much recommend this place to anyone who would like a relaxing evening. 100% would visit again!
Came here with a friend for Sunday lunch and we had an amazing time. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. The decor inside is gorgeous and the food amazing!! Strongly recommend their roast dinners.
Despite living a few miles away, I had not heard of this place until I read on Social Media that they had sadly been broken into. I felt very sad for their pain so when my husband asked me last night where do I want to eat, this place popped into my mind so we had no preconceived ideas on how good it would be - and we were totally blown away! The staff we really friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was totally amazing and even my teenager who is a bit fussy, loved all the food - in fact you 'forced' us all to have a dessert! The deconstructed Mango & Passionfruit Cheesecake was amazing and after the pork belly and starter, I was struggling to find space (but managed)!! Would highly recommend Platform Three for the food, service and ambiance ad will definitely be back.
Have been here a number of times now and absolutely love it. We have always found it to have a lovely atmosphere and it is so good to have a nice bar within walking distance as there isn't anything else like this place in the local area. The staff are always super friendly and if you get to do one of their unlimited wings nights, the chicken wings are delicious!
This is not the place for you. It's too nice sorry it's so nice I don't want it to be overrun. Really it's staff that make this little place what it is amazing. All I could ask for is a few more guest ale but that's me. I promise you will love it.
As a visitor from Canada I was looking for a good solo meal. They had wonderful vegan options here which were delicious. I felt at home with the ambiance, the great food and the wonderful service. Lucy(my server) was amazing. She greeted me with a smile, made great food recommendations and made me feel so welcomed.
This restaurant really sets the bar for others to follow. Had a lovely family meal this evening and the service was fantastic from Kerry and Panos. For example, with no fuss at all, they went out of their way to make an alternative adjustment to one of the menu items (given one of us had a nut allergy). I had a pizza and was blown away with the quality (and that's having recently returned from a holiday in Italy too!) . Quality food. Lovely ambiance, decent prices, nice drinks selection (the wine bar side of the restaurant is lovely in it's own right) and really friendly, genuine staff who clearly care about their customers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
