“We recently hosted a private function at Divine Restaurant in Shirley, Solihull on Saturday 30th May 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re a team from EH Smith, and we had exclusive use of the restaurant for the evening – and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The team at Divine went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The ambiance was lovely, and the restaurant felt welcoming and vibrant, perfectly suited for our group event. The food? Outstanding. Every single dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and authentically Indian. From the starters to the desserts, everything was top-notch – our whole team was raving about it! There was something for everyone, and all dietary needs were catered for without any fuss. A huge thank you to the entire team at Divine Restaurant for making our evening so memorable. “Absolutely loved it the moment I walked in, the service from David and Simone was amazing. Drinks arrived really quickly and the food came at a really good time also. The food was was impeccable and really tasty, literally can’t fault it at all. The atmosphere made it even more great, the music, the vibes and the restaurant was amazing.”

“We absolutely love pizza triangle. It is genuinely nice pizza. I always say, you know a good restaurant from an average one by the consistency of food. The pizza is always a solid 9/10 every time and if anything, it’s often a 10/10. It just gets better. Eating in is okay just with where it is and the inside.”

“Nice tea rooms in old manor with new additions. Good range if breakfast food served until 11:30am Lunch menu varied with many baked potato dishes. Prices are very teasingly and staff are very friendly. Small tea garden if weather is good:) Nice place to come anytime they are open!”

“My partner and I have recently visited Platform Three a few nights back after it was recommended to us. We always looked for places that have a warm and welcoming environment. The food we had was exceptional and the waiting and bar staff did a wonderful job of looking after us before and after our meal even though they were very busy, they couldn’t of done more for us. I would very much recommend this place to anyone who would like a relaxing evening. 100% would visit again!”

“What a fantastic find! We aren’t local but were in Solihull looking for somewhere to eat and discovered Mama Earth. First of all, the menu is amazing - it’s difficult to chose from so many delicious vegan dishes. We ended up with lasagne and roast potatoes and gourmet Mac n cheez and both were superb. A similarly wide choice of deserts and some adventurous (for us) mushroom tea made for a very memorable meal. In addition, Stella and Steve are such wonderful hosts, we genuinely felt like friends by the time we left. We will certainly return whenever we are in the Birmingham area.”

I've discovered a new favourite dish..the Murghi Special, it was amazing, would recommend..and a reasonable price considering it includes mushroom pilau rice. Offered lime pickle (as well as the usual accompaniments) with the poppadoms, which I love..and the keema naan was also lovely. 5/5 from me....it'll be my new fave place now for home delivery. Check their website, 20% off. Shapla has been here in Shirley for so long that many people forget it's here! Remember it guys, worth a visit!”

“The entree was AMAZING ☺️ Very friendly atmosphere. The staff accidentally flipped the open sign 20 minutes early because they were cleaning, but let us sit inside reviewing the menu while they finished opening. It's a hidden gem with great food, worth checking out. Only downside was parking, it's really limited out front, the near by supermarket parking is too short a duration, but the menu mentioned restaurant parking at the rear, though we didn't confirm how much was there ourselves.”

“We visited today for my daughter’s birthday and Dan and his team are amazing. They were friendly and efficient, double checking all orders, and checking we were all happy. It was so lovely to feel so relaxed and to see a team that is clearly well led by Dan. I’ve always loved zizzis but this experience sets it leagues above other restaurants in Solihull. I’m sure restaurant workers get a bit bored of bringing out birthday cakes, but it didn’t show! Thank you very much!”

Made sure she was warm, safe, and had everything she needed. Rooms and hotel are really really excellent. Clean, tidy, and very well appointed. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
