Incredible dining experience! The service from the staff was top notch, and the food was... quite literally... divine! Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the decor was lovely. We will definitely be returning soon!
We was a table of four today for my dads birthday and we had the best time. All servers were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond for us with giving my dad a free drink as his gift. Our drinks were constantly full, the place was very clean and tidy and the food was excellent and we will be definitely coming again.
The meal was great and the staff were fantastic. We will be coming back to divine as the taste of the curry was very unique. Thanks divine for the hospitality this is our first day in the uk from Hong Kong
We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Divine Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and genuinely friendly service that made us feel relaxed and looked after throughout the meal. The food was exceptional, every dish was made fresh from scratch, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour. You can really taste the difference when ingredients are high-quality and freshly prepared. The menu had a great variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious, they accommodated food intolerances. What really stood out, aside from the quality of the food, was the atmosphere. It was calm, cosy, and unpretentious, perfect for anything from a casual meal with family to a more special evening out. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. It’s clear that care and attention go into everything they do, and that makes a huge difference. We’ll definitely be returning – Divine really lives up to its name!
We recently hosted a private function at Divine Restaurant in Shirley, Solihull on Saturday 30th May 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re a team from EH Smith, and we had exclusive use of the restaurant for the evening – and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The team at Divine went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The ambiance was lovely, and the restaurant felt welcoming and vibrant, perfectly suited for our group event. The food? Outstanding. Every single dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and authentically Indian. From the starters to the desserts, everything was top-notch – our whole team was raving about it! There was something for everyone, and all dietary needs were catered for without any fuss. A huge thank you to the entire team at Divine Restaurant for making our evening so memorable. Food was really good,plenty of selection including a vegetarian option. Staff really lovely and so friendly.Lovely atmosphere and will definitely return. Diane and gez from shirley.
Very disappointing. Would not recommend or return. Unfortunately not as good as it used to be. The mixed appetizer for 2 is a complete rip off. Very expensive price for average quality food. 1 shish kebab cut in half with a cocktail stick with a cherry tomato, 1 king prawn butterflyed, 2 tiny pieces of chicken/tough lamb tikka, and 3 tiny fish balls on a wooden stick. For £25. The mains were OK. But not great. I must say the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and a very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately The food let it down, (which is what we went for). I'm also guessing it's probably changed hands, or under new management as we couldn't get a vat receipt as they have been trading less than 3 months.
Disappointed visit to this restaurant. Arrived a little early to put flowers on table and put my mother's 80th birthday cake out of sight before she arrived. We didn't get the warm welcome on arrival as expected from this well known establishment. We had to go to the bar ourselves to order drinks initially, which wasn't a problem but this occurred several times, we at one point ordered a gin and tonic with the younger member of staff this didn't arrive at all, my husband asked 3 times for his glass of water. The restaurant is lovely , food tasty although it did take nearly an hour for the mains to arrive, deliveroo were around and lots of takeaways being processed, feel they got preference to us diners sat in the restaurant, only 4 tables including ours being used at our time of dining. Later 2 female members of staff started their shift, so we thought things would improve, but we still didn't feel acknowledged, we were asked if the food was okay, which it was, so thank you for that, but the overall experience on this occasion was nil, nobody even said happy birthday to my elderly mother. We asked twice for the cake to be delivered to our table, when it arrived we had no knife, plates or serviettes and again had to ask for these items, it's a shame as we were told how good this restaurant was, but on our visit this proved wrong, and spending £120 feel the service we received was not acceptable
Delicious food (this Chef knows how to create great dishes)served on Hot Plates which for me is always a must. Menu has many choices.to suit all including myself being vegetarian. The service staff where attentive, and friendly without being overbearing. Really enjoyed our visit as we last visited over 2 year's ago. We definitely won't leave it so long for our next visit...We will be back shortly....Thanks to All
