“We recently hosted a private function at Divine Restaurant in Shirley, Solihull on Saturday 30th May 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re a team from EH Smith, and we had exclusive use of the restaurant for the evening – and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The team at Divine went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The ambiance was lovely, and the restaurant felt welcoming and vibrant, perfectly suited for our group event. The food? Outstanding. Every single dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and authentically Indian. From the starters to the desserts, everything was top-notch – our whole team was raving about it! There was something for everyone, and all dietary needs were catered for without any fuss. A huge thank you to the entire team at Divine Restaurant for making our evening so memorable. “The entree was AMAZING ☺️ Very friendly atmosphere. The staff accidentally flipped the open sign 20 minutes early because they were cleaning, but let us sit inside reviewing the menu while they finished opening. It's a hidden gem with great food, worth checking out. Only downside was parking, it's really limited out front, the near by supermarket parking is too short a duration, but the menu mentioned restaurant parking at the rear, though we didn't confirm how much was there ourselves.”

“Best Chinese I have had, hands down. I always scrawl through reviews of places before ordering from them, and after eating at boulevard I felt I should leave a review for those like me to say, this is a properly good Chinese. The dishes tasted completely fresh, and the quality of the ingredients was paramount. The beef chow mein and egg fried rice were particularly good. I don't normally leave reviews, but I feel boulevard has truly deserved my praise and has set itself apart from so many other Chinese takeaways that tasted the same and left me feeling a bit disappointed. This will be my go-to Chinese from now on.”

“Since my other local takeaway shut I have visited a lot of others by me to see if any were any good-they wasn't this was the only 1 who got close to them. It's a decent chinese chips can seem like they were cooked 2 weeks ago, apart from that it's highly recommended. But I would advise a drink to go as it can be a bit salty.”

“Stopped in by chance as was staying nearby. Had the Chicken Tikka Bhuna with Mushroom Pilau. The food was excellent. Rate to find a Bhuna fine just right - the sauce was think worth a nice texture and very tasty, not too spicy so could be enjoyed. I was treated warmly and service was quick. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are nearby”

“What can I say other than WOW!!! Amazing food and service when collecting. Whether you are new to Indian food or you have it a lot, the food is amazing. You can tell the chef(s) know what they are doing and take care of the dish/dishes while cooking. Well priced as well for the amount of food you receive!!”

“My 17 year old son finished work at 10.55pm tonight and popped to Tom Li to get a takeaway on his way home. Unfortunately he walked out leaving his wallet on the chair containing his whole week’s wages. Before he had even got home in a taxi Tom Li had turned up at my house in Solihull, after finding his driving license in his wallet, and returned it to him with absolutely everything in there! An absolutely lovely man and so nice to see there’s good honest people out there. Thank you!”

“Really enjoyed my meal at Ruchie. I had a lamb masala dosa and chicken chettinadu, both new to me, but the servers were happy to help me choose. Quality of food was great (especially enjoyed the lamb masala dosa and naan). Would definitely come back.”

“My husband and I ate lunch at Jade Wok today, and it was wonderful. It was our first time, and we really enjoyed the food. So much, that we ordered more to go. The gentleman who waited on us was so kind, explaining the dishes and helping us choose something good. He was friendly and served the food the way we requested. We travel from far away for business in Solihull, and now Jade Wok is our favorite place to eat.”

A warm welcome by Lilly and her staff is the order of the day. So satisfied with The Oriental Jade that we have introduced a number of friends and family here. We have found that when we have ordered meals for delivery they were piping hot and just as delicious as when eating in there. Not one single complaint in over 5 years.”

I went for the Double Have and but it was. Kids loved the prawn fried rice. The service from the staff was efficient considering how busy they were for a Friday evening.
