Used this establishment for 12 months always tasty. Really bland tasteless food and ribs tonight. Called to question quality and was told to add my own ingredients to enhance flavour. They admitted having a new chef. What a loss
Favourite Chinese. It's quick, delicious and always hot. The staff there are also very nice and very helpful. Delivery is also super quick.
PLEASE CHECK FOOD CAREFULLY! Absolutely disgusting and sickening! I am vegetarian and ordered 2 portions of salt and pepper chips, I waited over 40 minutes for them to be made and when I started eating i felt very sick I looked closely at them and there was traces of meat in there!!! Not sure what meat it was but I have had salt and pepper chips from other places and certainly never seen pieces of meat in there! I phoned them back and told them and said well you obviously have cooked it in the same dish as meat and didnt even wash it after cooking as it's been mixed in with other food. The lady said she doesnt know what goes on in the kitchen. I said I am coming to show you the chips and get a refund. She said i can make you another portion I told her no thanks refund please I am put off. So when I went back to the shop she wouldn't listen to me when I tried to show her and just kept saying sorry but the apology was not truthful, I had decided to record the conversation before going In on a random note and she was just ever so rude and her apology meant nothing. So I would advise please check your food properly as you dont know how they cook it!!!! Look at the chips that is very well blatantly meat in there!!!
Best Chinese I have had, hands down. I always scrawl through reviews of places before ordering from them, and after eating at boulevard I felt I should leave a review for those like me to say, this is a properly good Chinese. The dishes tasted completely fresh, and the quality of the ingredients was paramount. The beef chow mein and egg fried rice were particularly good. I don't normally leave reviews, but I feel boulevard has truly deserved my praise and has set itself apart from so many other Chinese takeaways that tasted the same and left me feeling a bit disappointed. This will be my go-to Chinese from now on.
This is a sad review. We've ordered twice from here.. The first time was absolutely wonderful. Large portions, the ribs were something else, we honestly couldn't fault it. But last night, the ribs were gristly and what little meat was hard, the chicken skewers... I don't even know if they were chicken. They were hard and crunchy on the outside and soft and almost slimy on the inside. My container of rice had a gap in one corner where there was no rice which was so odd like someone had taken a spoon full out, the rice was over salty, and my girlfriend found a hair in her dish. It's like they have different chefs. The portions seemed much smaller than before. So two stars due to the the inconsistency, and that's generous given the hair, the poor good and the missing rice.
