When Yao’s opened , the food was actually quite decent. Unfortunately , it’s gone downhill. This definitely will be my last order from this place. The sweet sour chicken balls were just pieces of chicken in thick batter, the spring rolls ( 2 pieces £5.30!!) were full of bean sprouts. Spring rolls were supposed to be chicken but I saw one tiny piece of something that looked like chicken amongst the bean sprouts . Even my dog turned his nose at it. Fried rice was bland . Overpriced and awful . Please avoid this place unless you really want bad Chinese food.

Absolutely vile. We ordered 2 x quarter crispy duck and a chicken chow mien. The duck was disgusting, it came on the bone as big joints ( not shredded & it was so dry and tasteless and the chicken chow mien was tasteless with weird rubbery chicken. Spent over £30 and me and my daughter put it straight in the bin. If I was in the restaurant I would have sent it back and asked for a refund. Will not be returning. Would have gave 0 stars for everything if I could.

Ordered from here quite a few times previously and never a problem. Tonight we ordered beef fried rice, and my husband had beef in green peppers. The meat is absolutely disgusting and tastes nothing like beef, the consistency made me heave. It’s the most anaemic beef I have ever seen, chewy and stringy with a horrible taste. Will not be ordering from here again, the food is not fit for human consumption !!!! Very disappointing !!

Finally found a Chinese that’s good! Order from these all the time! The food is hot and tasty, highly recommend the King Prawns on toast and spring rolls.

Lovely food. The soup and ribs are the best from here. Ribs fall off the bone and are so soft. It's so cold in the shop its a very strange experience. I don't know how they manage to keep it so cold. It's like a freezer in there. Wouldn't complain though as the service is quick and they are always busy.

Came here after reading reviews and wanting to try a new local place. All I can say is that the previous place we went to has lost a customer. The food here is really really nice. I went for the Double Have and but it was. Kids loved the prawn fried rice. The service from the staff was efficient considering how busy they were for a Friday evening. Will be going to get some more food from here. Recommend for all
