Food was great, tasty and plentiful. Price was on par with what I expected. Looking forward to revisiting again soon.
Excellent service and food with reasonable price. We ordered Thursday deal and each of us got a starter, main and sides/dessert at a fair price. The pad thai was a bit too sweet for me but the mango sticky rice was the highlight of the night. We ordered a few Chinese dishes as well which were fantastic and come with a reasonable portion. They offered prawn crackers as snacks and even mint chocolate at the end , which was a surprise to me. Will definitely come back again!
Fabulous relaxing atmosphere. First class customer service. The food presentation was excellent. Ample portions too! It's a yes from me.
Has been recently taken over. We went last night and the food was outstanding, very reasonable prices and exceeded my expectations! Will be back again very soon.
After over 10 years of using this restaurant as a takeaway, tonight ordered food for delivery for on checkout it switch to collection! For them to tell us they have no drivers now our order had gone through and paid for! Due to a broken foot i can not drive to collect! Eventually sorting out someone to collect for me i was told they would not make fresh food i would have to have it as it was after being sat there for an hour!! So you have lost our custom tonight and our orders that can be in excess of £100 per week!!
Basically this place is now a takeaway. Don't bother going assuming it's a restaurant. They are far to busy taking telephone orders to look after their seated customers. Extremely disappointed left after 15 mins.
Excellent Thai cuisine we were spoilt with a wide range of tasty menu with great starters and main course. We had lovely king prawns and a duck dish to die for. VERY friendly staff and Thai chefs business! p.s. Great value for money and We will come back again.
We had take away. Only via their website NOW. Not a problem. You can now eat inside the restaurant. Our food was brilliant. Good portion size and very tasty. A little more expensive but quality ingredients. Will use again and will go to the restaurant too.
We've always had great food, great service and fast delivery times from Everbright, but the last few times we've ordered we've had issues with incorrect items and really long delivery times. We always ordered using the Just Eat app and our last 2 orders have had the delivery ETA adjusted so that it was 1.5-2 hours after ordering where previously the food would have been with us in around 20-25 minutes. This wouldn't always be an issue except we had our 6 year old eating with us as a treat for him, and no-one wants to be giving a little one their dinner at 9pm! Previously I wouldn't have hesitated to give a 5 star rating. This last time I called to ask why it was such a long lead time and was told they were really busy so I asked if I collected instead of having it delivered, could I get my food faster and was told yes. On arriving at the restaurant, there was one family in there finishing their meal and in the time I was waiting there were no deliveries leaving the kitchen. When my food came out I asked to double check the order as I'd ordeo the same as I always do and the last time our starter was wrong. As it happened the order was wrong again, but in the exact same way as the previous one. A conversation with the chef highlighted a very confusing line on the receipt which was the source of the mix up. We had selected mixed starter 3 for 2 persons with the option selected for 3 people instead of 2. Chicken satay skewers, tempura prawns and spring roll (delicious and our favourite!) - this came through on the receipt as "3.mixed starter for 2 for 3 persons" and had been read by the chef as "mixed starter 2 for 3 persons". mixed.starter 2 is filo prawns (nowhere near as nice as the tempura ones), squid rings and Thai fish cakes - both of which my wife did not like at all and refused to eat. I explained to the chef who went off to cook the correct items, but I then ended up having to wait for the starter to be cooked again and by the time I got my food home I was at the top end of the extended delivery estimate anyway, but at least with the correct food order!! Despite enjoying the food, the whole experience from our last few orders means I'm not likely to want to order from here again, which is unfortunate as we've never had issues before. I don't know if something has changed at thee restaurant recently to cause these issues but it needs looking at and addressing quickly.
