   The food here was fresh and absolutely lovely! We had fish, chips, and curry sauce, all cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The staff were really nice and even gave us some free chips while we waited for the fish to finish cooking, which was such a kind touch. Everything was hot, tasty, and freshly made. Definitely the best chip shop in the area, we’ll be back soon!

   My colleagues and I had high expectations of this place and we have travelled all the way from Newcastle. The food was standard to any expectation and what made it worse was we ordered a mixed kebab but when it came to scoffing it down it turned out to be just donner meat. After further inspection of the receipt we must have been misinterpreted due to our strong Geordie dialect as the receipt read 3 large donner and chips. However we did get some free chips while we waited so the hospitality was good.

   Usually the fish and chips are really good. The staff are efficient, the shop is clean. But my partner fetched our tea from there tonight and it fell short. He asked for a beef and onion pasty for me. When I unwrapped it, it was still in the bag, soft and floppy and was cheese and onion. Puts me off.

   We visited for the first time having looked at the reviews. Best fish and chips we've had in ages. Absolutely delicious. Batter was lovely, yummy chips. Staff were really friendly, even gave us a little doner treat for our dog who was waiting outside.This will definitely be our go to chippy from now on.

   I have done several visits to this shop at it was simply fantastic and certainly worth the money. Very tasty fish and chips which were very nice and freshly cooked. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended

   Chips were cold and stale, I also had donner meat which tasted like leather. Person behind the counter trimmed it In front of me so he knew it was over cooked and still continued to serve it. Worst chip shop meal I've ever had.
