“We had a wonderful family meal here on Saturday. The food was fantastic and we all cleared our plates! Also a fantastic wine selection and the service was generally brilliant. We did have to flag someone down to pay, but otherwise absolutely nothing could have been improved.”

“fabulous place with friendly cats. cats are well cared for and very happy. they have lots of toys and places to go. the owner is the only member of staff but she is nice and friendly and does an excellent job. the food is great tasting and the presentation is really nice and the prices for food drinks and entry are very fair in fact for the great food drinks cats and service i think its cheap. i would highly recommend and i will go again. i have mobility issues and am made very welcome and i would feel comfortable asking for help if ever i needed it”

“Visited Friday 28th November 6.00pm. Great service and food. Visited with two friends. The King Prawn Madras which is my regular dish was the best one i have ever had. The prawns were big and juicy and the sauce was proper Madras hot which these days is rare. Always on hand to supply more beer and was great value.I did not tip because 10% service charge was put on which i think was enough . I will definetly come again and urge others to try this little gem upstairs.”

“I am so pleased to have come across this venue today! We were served by Iness who was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable on gluten free options explaining everything to me. I had chicken fajitas in the BBQ Chipotle sauce and a side of cheesy fries with the most wonderful pineapple IPA. My husband had the beef burrito and was impressed and enjoyed it. The food is great. The service was amazing. The venue is just awesome and I love that there is so much to look at take in. The decor and music create a Mexican vibe and it just felt a great place to stop and enjoy some good food and a good time. Looking forward to the next visit already! ✨”

“Good selection of food and drinks and this venue is much quieter than others in the terminal. Defo worth walking from the main gates to here for some peace and quiet. The menu is good, reasonable for the quality and service, and love the smarties served with the hot drinks.”

“This is the 2nd time Myself and My fiancee have eaten here. Both times We've taken the tapas option, as it's our favourite way of eating out. Being able to have and try many different foods. The food comes out when ready, so be prepared to wait, while the food is cooked. But when it comes out, it's tasty and it's hot. The staff are friendly and polite. We wil definitely come and eat again here in the future....”

“Really lovely vintage café in the heart of Solihull. We were given a very warm welcome and a great afternoon tea (and had so much that we had to take some home with us at the end!). Plenty of tasty sandwiches, scones and cakes, lashings of tea and really friendly service - highly recommended.”

“Beautifully spiced food, nice atmosphere and good service made this an enjoyable meal. Generous portions without being over the top. It is BYO so that means you can bring your favourite wine or beer along which is a major plus for craft beer drinkers like me. We will definitely be visiting again.”

“Really lovely lunch one day and brunch on another over the weekend. Food is well cooked, presented and tasty. Varied and interesting food and drinks menus. Average ‘gastropub’ prices. Staff really friendly. Great outdoor space and a large pergola with fire and ping pong table (noticed they also have tv presumably for sports and hire the pergola out for parties). Weird thing to say on a review but appreciated nice and clean toilets with free sanitary products in the ladies in case you’re caught short. Small thoughtful gestures like this are always a winner imo.”

The Vada Pav was the highlight for me—perfectly spiced, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It’s easily my favorite item here! A special mention to the restaurant manager, Mr. Omkar, who was very warm and welcoming. He personally served us and made sure we had everything we needed. Excellent service and great food—highly recommended!”

“Very last minute booking at the Solihull branch. Nice welcome and it serves Shanice was great throughout. Not just taking our orders but generally making conversation and helping us to feel as though our custom mattered. Food was crazy delicious! Had the Chicken Palka which was divine. “A constant winner! Food was outstanding. The pork chop starter was delicious. Service was good, my only slight grumble would have been too attentive. We had been asked by 3 separate staff if everything was ok with our meal before I'd even had two mouthfuls of starter.”

“We came here to have a Valentines lunch. We were greeted warmly by staff. We hadn't booked ahead of time, but Bettie our server accommodated Us very quickly. I had the beers Battered Black Pudding, with salad and Sweet Chilli Sauce. Followed by the Black and Blue Burger, with homemade Slaw and chunky chips. My partner had Breaded Mushrooms with Garlic Mayo, followed by Lambs Liver and Bacon, with Peas and Pea shoots. The food was cooked beautifully and all the staff were friendly and chatty. We'll be coming back to try something else from the menu.”

“Loved the vibe of this cafe, the food was excellent too. They've got houseplants and cacti, plus cards and art for sale. We had pancakes and smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs, and both dishes were tasty and good value. The only low point was the food took a while to come out, but they'd just had a food delivery so were quite busy. Overall, a great place for brunch right on knowle high street. We'll be visiting again.”
