A constant winner! Food was outstanding. The pork chop starter was delicious. Service was good, my only slight grumble would have been too attentive. We had been asked by 3 separate staff if everything was ok with our meal before I'd even had two mouthfuls of starter.

Amazing lunch with friends recently. I've not been before, but will go back. Delicious food and wine options. Service was excellent too. Its not a "cheap" lunch, but you feel you are getting what you pay for here. The menu is not massive, so check online before you go if you are fussy.

A fabulous little find when visiting a local National Trust property. Absolutely excellent service and even better food. If you're ever passing definitely pop in .

Tried a Sunday lunch at this pub on the outskirts of Solihull last week. Was very busy due to a large function they were holding. Sunday roast was really good and plenty of it. Quite pricey but seems to be quite standard everywhere now. Would return if in the area.

Lovely place with some very high-quality food. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere was great, apart from being a little too warm throughout the evening. I do feel like it is expensive, but it's a nice place to go for the odd special occasion. Probably the best lamb I've ever had. I did feel abit awkward when the bill arrived and the optional service charge was written on... I felt abit pressured into paying it...considering the price of the final bill, the service charge was more than a meal and starter put together

This place was recommended to us and we are so pleased we listened to our friends. It’s 20 minutes from our house but we would have gladly driven another 20 minutes to visit here. Menu , food , staff , atmosphere all wonderful. Looking forward to returning again soon. Would recommend to all.

My wife and I went for a spur of the moment meal. The food was of a high standard with great quality produce and well executed dishes. The waiting staff were polite and helpful. Would highly recommend a try for all occasions. Definitely somewhere I'd return as their are many items I still need to try.

Had a lovely evening meal at this Redditch traditional pub. The portions were very generous and super tasty. The chef really knows the flavour combinations!! Cannot recommending it enough, it’s for sure a must visit. Although be careful with the drinks as they are a bit pricey. I must also highlight the cosy vibe it gave with exposed wooden beams and wall decorations. Their Xmas menu is out already, so be sure to book early.

I've been to this pub 3 times so far and I had mixfeelings. First time was really good, second one I was disappointed but the last time I was amazed by the food quality and presentation, and the atmosphere in the marquee. It was lovely and well decorated with autumn decorations.

Stumbled upon this quaint Inn today after Storm Franklin's winds had forced all the local National Trust properties to close. Out of the cold wind was a cosy old inn with real fires, and nice coffee for elevenses followed by a good lunch too. Menu maybe slightly more limited than some but all the food was well liked by all of us. All staff were friendly and welcoming, so we came back later for desserts after a walk. The canal right behind is worth a look, with the bottom of the 9 locks on the Lapworth Lock Flight the first one you come to.
