With out exception, this is the best restaurant I have been to for a number of years… I’d like to thank John, Nick and Emma for their hospitality. I wasn’t able to thank the kitchen staff personally but would like to extend my appreciation for their hard work too. My very best wishes William Peyton
We were lucky they could fit us in at a few days notice with a party of 3 due to a cancellation. We thoroughly enjoyed their 3 course menu with complimentary olives, breads and appetiser, which offers great value. The staff were brilliant and very personable with us and our 8 year old. The food was extremely well cooked. Some of the flavours were very rich such as the fillet of steak with wine jus option. One vegetarian option was present on both the starter and the main course. I'm not a fan of goats cheese and both options had this as an ingredient. I tried both and they were surprisingly good. We all enjoyed the starter the best of all, although the cheesecake dessert was also extremely delicious. Highly recommend it for a special dining experience. We shall definitely return.
Excellent fine dining restaurant with professional staff and delicious food. £60 for three courses of this quality food is a bargain. If you're a foodie and in the area, this is a must visit.
Lovely restaurant serving classic French cuisine in cosy countryside village decor. Ample choice on the menu, with many daily specials. The dishes were very well executed and service traditionally formal. Large portion sizes for all dishes ordered, making three courses perhaps a little much in terms of quantity. Very enjoyable experience.

We were lucky to get a table for lunch when visiting the area. We were very impressed by the thought and effort put into all the dishes which did not disappoint. We would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience in Worcestershire.

An absolute delight. We travelled about 25 miles to get to this restaurant. Well I'm so glad that we did. Lovely olde building. Beautiful food. A nice setting and if I lived closer I'd be back again this weekend. 100% would recommend
The restaurant is in Ombersley, Worcestershire, 1 Mitchelin star. Hubby and I had Smoked Salmon starter - different flavours with every mouthful. Hubby: The Steak was cooked to perfection - very tasty. Me: Mushroom Wellington best veggie dish ever! Dessert: Cheese platter, variety of cheeses, very good. All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. We’d like to return for the Sunday Lunch carvery. Outstanding ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
