“Umrah Supermarket was recommended by a friend slightly out of my way but thought I’d try it, and honestly I was surprised how organised everything was and from the product they had everything from different brands from different countries. It was very clean store and staff were helpful. The Butchers section was impressive got served straight away and they had everything I required and honestly I found the store itself slightly cheaper than my regular shop / butchers. Definitely recommending this place even if you pop in for a look if you’re in the area of Northampton.”

“All of the groups have been so beneficial to us. You can see how much my daughter enjoys herself, even when she's wandering off doing her own thing. We've really enjoyed the mix of activities in each session and the energy Hanna puts into every group is incredible. Those early days of being a new mum stuck in lockdown - it was such a relief to get out and meet other people and for my daughter to mix with other babies too. I'm sure I'm not the only mum who personally really benefitted from coming along, it's definitely not just for the children! “Brilliant place, you will find everything you need to run you're Business. Reasonable price too alot cheaper than bookers and bestway and any other wholes sales in northampton. If they don't have an item you need they will try their best to accommodate you. All the staff are very nice and friendly. I believe ciaran is the manger as I saw on the name badge who is always welcoming and always try to look after you which is a bonus. The place is always very clean and immaculate.”

“Excellent small supermarket and convenience store on the edge of Upton. Plenty of choice on offer in this covid compliant store. The staff are friendly and working hard to keep food on our tables. Floor markings keep everyone safe and there are self service tills if you prefer. I walked over a mile to get there but it's worth it. Especially for the special deals that they advertise on TV. It's a great alternative to the big supermarkets.”

“Yoga Local is a lovely studio. Alison and Josie are warm and welcoming and are great teachers. There are lots of different and regular classes to chose from and the studio also hosts other events. There is an app you can join and you can do classes at home if you need to. It has a nice community feel and if you would like support during your yoga journey, this is the place to be.”

“We love this shop and buy everything from basics like washing up liquid, bamboo toilet paper, shampoo and cleaning products to wonderful treats like chocolate Brazils, cinnamon and maple nuts. Got my Christmas cake mix in a kilner jar with eggs, a lemon and sugar provided ( and you.get to keep the kilner jar to bring back to refill with lentils, pasta or whatever). Kerry, Alice and Lauren are great fun and will help you if you are new to refilling! Great for children as they can help with weighing. If you want to try a small amount of something so you can see if you like it {vegan jelly beans, chocolate balls, chilli nuts etc) that's fine. I used to hate shopping and especially hated seeing the amount of plastic waste I was adding to. I absolutely love our visits to Food for Thought. It has the feel good factor! Thankyou ladies! XXX”

Her advice and expertise far succeeded the John Lewis Baby experience we had a few months later, and so we rebooked with Sue in our final weeks of pregnancy to secure a travel system and some other bits we needed through Bumpstart. We were thrilled with the bundle we ended up going for and couldn't have been happier with Sue's help throughout the entire process.
