“Visit every week, on one occasion was behind two old farts who said to the young lad serving, "Have you worked here long?" He replied yes a few months. To which they replied "well you should be quicker!" For starters, they didn't pack their shopping, he did!!!! The poor lad just took it and didn't react. In all the trips I've done there the young lads on the till who let's be honest are probably only on min wage are polite, helpful and a credit to the store.”

“Went recently for Afternoon Tea, staff were welcoming and friendly. The Afternoon Tea itself offered a nice selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and thought good value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit.”

“Wanted to go here for some time and it did not disappoint!!! As soon as you walk through the door the gingerbread smell hits you, all hand made delights with so much to choose from. Not only is there sweet treats but the savoury selection is top quality too, and the coffee is brilliant! All at a more then reasonable price. “The most amazing bread with absolutely no nasties in it, all freshly baked locally! I cannot recommend Suranne enough, I always buy multiple loaves when she bakes and only wish she could bake more regularly! The bread is delicious, especially some of the ‘specials’ she does (tomato & chilli is a real favourite for us!). She’s also really friendly and very flexible about collection.”
