Absolutely the best bread I’ve ever had – truly exceptional! Everything is fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. We’ll definitely be back next year! A real gem!
Ordered the Sourdough Loaf with Camembert baked into it and just WOW! Massive size loaf and the flavour just oozes out of every bite. Our first order but Definitely won’t be our last. Awesome to meet Suranne and be invited in to see her operation and ovens as well. Cannot recommend highly enough definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience and happy and proud to support a small business
Suranne is an incredibly talented baker. Her sourdough is honestly the best I’ve tasted and her passion shines through every bite. The flavour combinations are really creative, and I’ve enjoyed trying some of the different offerings. It also helps that she’s a really lovely person so it’s an absolute pleasure to support her business. Hands down, it’s the best sourdough in the region!
The most amazing bread with absolutely no nasties in it, all freshly baked locally! I cannot recommend Suranne enough, I always buy multiple loaves when she bakes and only wish she could bake more regularly! The bread is delicious, especially some of the ‘specials’ she does (tomato & chilli is a real favourite for us!). She’s also really friendly and very flexible about collection.
We heard about this family run micro bakery from friends and tried a large loaf of sourdough. Thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family, including the 8 and 5 year old - we will be ordering again. The freshly baked aromas filled our breakfast room from arrival and the loaf tasted delicious with any topping. We understand it freezes well too. Highly recommended!

I have never been disappointed in the soda bread that I have had from Urban Chef. It’s always fresh and delicious. The lady who runs it, Sharon is friendly and very helpfully. I have had varies versions of the soda bread from Urban Chef. I didn’t even realise that there was so many variations of soda bread. I loved the seeded loaf and the wholemeal loaf. The bread is lovely when warm with butter, makes perfect sandwiches and is gorgeous as toast. I especially enjoy as toast with poached eggs. All the ingredients and fresh and wholesome. I would 100% recommend trying Urban Chef. You will not be disappointed. I certainly will not be getting my bread from anywhere else.
I had my first loaf from Urban Chef at the weekend and oh my goodness, this is the best bread I have ever tasted! I can’t be bothered making sourdough so to have someone bring me a loaf is brilliant. The taste is remarkable and almost better toasted! I have put in a weekly order as I don’t think I can do without it! Looking forward to trying all the different varieties from this brilliant micro bakery.
