“In this place you get sea/ocean foods of all kinds; and I mean it. You might get fish of all types, lobsters, shellfish, and other kinds of marine mammals. The fish you get here is as fresh as the one in the water because of the deep freezing that is applied to them. The food hygiene is also 5 stars since the environment is clean and you are served by well respected and qualified professional butchers.”

“Umrah Supermarket was recommended by a friend slightly out of my way but thought I’d try it, and honestly I was surprised how organised everything was and from the product they had everything from different brands from different countries. It was very clean store and staff were helpful. The Butchers section was impressive got served straight away and they had everything I required and honestly I found the store itself slightly cheaper than my regular shop / butchers. Definitely recommending this place even if you pop in for a look if you’re in the area of Northampton.”

“Visit every week, on one occasion was behind two old farts who said to the young lad serving, "Have you worked here long?" He replied yes a few months. To which they replied "well you should be quicker!" For starters, they didn't pack their shopping, he did!!!! The poor lad just took it and didn't react. In all the trips I've done there the young lads on the till who let's be honest are probably only on min wage are polite, helpful and a credit to the store.”

“Some really good prices, their own ready made luxury moussaka is a lovely meal, & to be honest you couldn't buy the ingredients and make it for that price. UPDATED: we have just had some frozen meals from there, I had a sweet& sour chicken & some battered chicken with sweet & sour sauce, very very good, decent chicken in it,& microwaved the sweet & sour, I'm not a not a massive microwave fan but it really works well. Husband had a chicken vindaloo, he said the chicken in it was very good, the flavour was excellent & it was hot, apparently nearly as good as a takeaway one. If you buy on a Tuesday you get 10% discount for seniors.”
