   Absolutely awful experience here. I went in to deposit £40 into my Monzo account via PayPoint. The man at the till was new and clearly had no idea what he was doing, building up a queue and then calling his boss for help — not in person, but on the phone. I told him clearly that I knew there was a £1 PayPoint fee, so £39 should go into my account. Instead, he entered £39 as the deposit, meaning I only got £38 after the fee. I immediately pointed out the mistake and even showed proof on my Monzo app, but the boss on the phone just repeated the same wrong explanation over and over without listening or trying to understand. This isn’t about the £1 — it’s about the fact they overcharged me and refused to take responsibility. Both the staff member and the boss were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I felt completely disrespected and scammed. Avoid this place unless you want to be talked down to and ripped off.
