In the middle of being served our drinks, an immediate staff meeting was called in the corner of the cafe so a staff member could announce they would be leaving. So unprofessional, and surely could’ve waited for our drinks to have been served first?? Panini filling was next to nothing. Coffee served in dirty cups. Salad as dry as anything and the only sauce on offer was ketchup. Such a beautiful town and this visit did not live up to expectations.

It was quick. Three staff, young woman on till , keen and offered meal deals. Older woman just wast wanted to complain about how she couldn't remember what was in meal deals, and how they were closing early as it wasn't busy (9 customers in store and 4 more served while we were there), yet she was convinced they had only had 15 customers all day. Reheated croissant and panini, both toasted to within an inch of their lives. Food hygiene rating of 2 is generous.

Walking around Towcester today and we found this lovely bakery, good location with seating area inside and outside, good selection of bakes and pastries, had a oat latte and some pastry. They are dog friendly

Avoid for all costs. I used to be regular customer until today. Every day around lunch time I used to take away 4-6 portion of soup. Today was first time I was served by manager, she poured the soup to take away cups. There was half cup in every of the 4 cups. I pointed out as, I believe it's more like 3 portions instead of 4. Then the lady said as she is manager of the store and she knows better. I mentioned as I buy your soup everyday so, I always have full cups. She persisted. I didn't want to pay full price for half cup and nasty service and I walked out. There is lovely bakary down the road with amaizing service. Pick who you want to support.

Awful company. The manager is awful and a rather unpleasant person. I've noticed a few other reviews have also pointed that out. The food is also average too. There is a much better bakery up the road that sells rather lovely baguettes!

Can't tell you what the food was like as we walked out. We thought we'd try and support a local business, went inside, asked about a food allergy and the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes, huffed and walked out the back without a word (I guess to find out), but was out there a good few minutes which gave us the opportunity to rethink whether we wanted to dine there and subsequently left.

Lovely little cafe/bakery. Went here for breakfast this morning, staff are polite and helpful. Food was delicious and coffee was awesome. Would definitely go here again. Thank you and keep up the great food and service!
