I have been going to Salcey forest for 27 years. I always pay for my parking. I was on my usual work when I came across a loose dog. I stayed with the dog until I found the owner. This resulted in me going over my parking time. I appealed but now they are demanding £50 despite me giving good reason and evidence. This isn’t want nature is supposed to me about. Next time I will leave the lost dog.

We stopped to get a coffee before going on a lovely walk, and was disappointed by the lack of basic courtesy. The staff didn’t even say hello or acknowledge me when I came in, which made the experience feel unfriendly and unwelcoming. A simple greeting goes a long way in creating a good atmosphere—unfortunately, that was missing here. I hope the management can improve staff training, because the walk and location is great, but the service really lets it down.

Hadn't been to Salcey Forest for some years before today's visit and although the café doesn't offer the selection it used to generally, there was a good selection of vegan sandwiches, ice creams and cakes and our food was delicious.

They serve a generous selection of gluten free and vegan sweets, which is great and appreciated. The only problem is that they were putting the serving clamps in a way they were touching the non gluten free stuff... When we told the staff about this we were twice denied it happened. The person sighted and went to the kitchen not saying a word more. Subsequently we heard the staff laughing. A different colleague understood the problem and treated us with respect. Well done young man.

Such a lovely place and fab cafe but recently the service has gone down the pan. So ridiculously slow. The staff don't seem to have any urgency. It seems there is no manager to get them in order.

I love to visit this cafe after going to Salcey Forest Parkrun, their decaf flat white coffee is great, just the right balance of roasting to give a rich taste, but no bitterness.

-2 deg outside. Log burner not on. It wasn't cold but would have been nice to see it roaring. Preferred the old cafe. This one is corporate dullsville

So much better than the old shed , coffee is well made and ice drinks are made up well,so nice vegan food is available on a daily basis.

This is a great little stop if you’re a cyclist like me. It’s located within Salcey Forest around 25/30 mins( cycling)from the northern edge of Milton Keynes and makes an excellent stop if completing a circular route. I normally have a coffee and a piece of cake but did try a sausage sandwich a few weeks ago that was very nice. Plenty of space for bike parking and cars as well( cars have to pay), good clean toilets, indoor and outdoor seating some of which is covered. They even carry various bike spares and a have a customer track style pump. Well done grounds. Would get 5 stars but some cakes seem a bit expensive although to be fair probably no dearer than similar places. What about a cake loyalty scheme as well as a coffee one!
