   Terrible service, 0iķno acknowledgement upon entering despite lad looking directly at me. Lady entered after me she get served first. Very poor hospitality skills. Shame as I try to support local businesses but sadly will give this place a miss

   Had the cod — portion was massive, and the fish was fresh and tasty. Chips were perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy inside. Well done!

   Just had one fish bit and chips, and the chips were greasy and the fish bite if you call it that was about the size of my index finger. It was all batter, and charged 3.20 for the fish alone. Apoorling. Won't go there again.

   Fresh Fish !!!, Ours definately was not fresh when I bought it on Sunday. What gets me with shops like this is that they gain a great reputation for doing everything right, then throw it all out the window by serving something that they deem "It will do". Apart from being over the top prices from a normal greasy chip shop, I was gobsmaked at the awful taste and quality of the fish, awful is a bit of an understatement but when you have driven 20 miles home you would expect something thats claimed to be fresh, FRESH. This was always my port of call when coming through Kiddy but looks like a new chip shop is calling on the horizon from now on.

   I've had fish and chips here on many occasions but the last few times have not been great. The chips are soggy and undercooked and the batter on the fish is very soggy and needs to be cooked longer. I will now be going somewhere else.

   Wonderful service, I originally ordered through Just Eat and the driver just wouldn’t find me despite standing out side in the cold for 10 minutes explaining where I am. I called up to cancel the order out of frustration but Captain cods made me a fresh order and sent their own delivery driver who found me very quickly. Food was lovely and warm, very impressed with the service and staff . Will be ordering directly next time

   I had a chips and Steak and pie, which had been in the microwave. The chips were soggy and pie pasty was like elastic,because it had been in the microwave. The pie lid was so thin you could see the filling. It wasn't up to the standard I would expect.
