“Lovely staff. Clean café. Good good. Fair pricing. What more could you want? Lovely staff always say thank you as you leave too. Had another breakfast today, they couldn't be more welcoming, I've know more poss establishments not give as good a service. Two people offered to wipe the table which wasn't even dirty. Brilliant café. Consistently good. Even came around giving out free cakes one busy day. No complaints.”
“We come here regularly and the food is great, staff always polite”
“First time, food excellent and friendly staff, prices very competitive, will be coming back.”
“Best breakfast I have had in a very long time. I don't eat out very often but I will be back here very soon.”
“I’m always here if I’m ever passing through, excellent food excellent prices and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.”
“Had an afternoon tea, to celebrate a birthday. Excellent sandwiches, cakes and scones, for a very reasonable price. Tea and coffee top ups, if required, at no extra charge. More than enough food supplied. Everyone took a box home. Also, plenty of free parking.”
“My favourite kidderminster coffee shop. Coffee is delicious, atmosphere and staff are warm and friendly. There are also games and toys for children which helps it be family friendly. Toilets are up two flights of stairs but are well looked after. Disability access for downstairs only. Also, as toys are upstairs may be an issue for pushchairs.”
“I went here on a trip heading out of Kidderminister. The rain was pouring down and it was miserable. Here was an oasis. Friendly staff, quick service, warm and inviting. And reasonably priced.”
“Food is pretty good and priced very reasonably! The coffee here is also great, especially the cappuccinos. The staff are friendly enough and they've never been rude or snappy to me or my family so that's a bonus! Only downside I'd say is there's not a lot of choice where food is concerned after about 12pm or 1pm other than cakes, scones, teacakes and general afternoon tea type foods. If you want a sausage sandwich or something then you'll have to come in the morning :)”
“Great food great value. Staff above and beyond care for customers. Fantastic . Breakfast well cooked good ingredients. Waffles superb. Drinks so very tasty”
“I went today with my parents, I had a sweet potato curry, it was lush, service was good, tables were clean, plenty of seating, very tidy, very good value for money, can't understand the bad reviews, I shall definitely be returning.”
“Lovely place to shop good value for money staff very helpful”
“Staff are always welcoming, today was busier than usual but I still received my usual service and food. Turkish toast and fried eggs with a flat white are always my go to! Never disappointed.”

“Recently found this gem. I can’t believe I didn’t know about it until I went on my nieces Facebook as I don’t have FB. The malteser cheesecake and shortbread are amazing. I’ve been looking for cafes with homemade cakes and these truly are homemade, which is such a rarity! The staff also make the latte to preference such as decaf/ oat milk etc the indoor area is clean with tasteful decor. The outside seating is really lovely as it’s based in a pretty and peaceful location. There is a free car park that can be used. Owner is lovely and friendly. We felt very welcome. I was a bit worried as I’ve been to other places which are a bit hostile towards Muslims/ Asians but there was no need to be worried here. I haven’t tried the food yet but when I do I will edit my review . I’d love to see more cheesecake flavours as Gil is a great baker . I am a baker too and I have very high standards so that’s saying something . Im definitely not easily pleased when it comes to cakes. Overall really lovely cafe . I went to another cafe before I discovered Gils for homemade cakes and that was such a major disappointment in quality and taste and did not compare to Gils. Prices are really good for the cake considering it’s homemade and generous portions . Only wish I could visit more often but due to health problems I can’t but when I do it’s a lovely experience. Thanks!”
“I would highly recommend this hair salon, lovely setting, beauty and hair services and added bonus of a bar for a drink Lovely staff too.”
“Lovely place. We often stop on bike rides for coffee and cake. Bike racks for bikes. Gorgeous cakes and friendly staff. Highly recommended”
“Had to support a friend at the Crown court today, the day was helped by a surprise just next door… AJs Dinner. The Bacon and mushroom sandwich the Ladies served, was one of the best I have ever eaten, this coming from a chef of 40 years. Bacon perfectly cooked and so many delicious fresh button mushrooms. Well done ladies, keep up the good work! If you are Kidiminster definitely worth visiting”
“Fantastic value and a warm welcome!”
“Great, quirky cafe. Absolutely loved our visit to break up our long journey. Lovely hot coffee in a decent size cup, toastie was tasty and very good value for money. My husband and I needed a bite to eat but not a huge meal and the lady who served us sensibly advised us to share the toastie as it was quite substantial. We appreciated that advice as she could have just sold us two toasties. I’m sure we would not have been able to finish them. Staff were very welcoming and efficient, we noticed that tables were cleaned quickly and thoroughly and even the seating was wiped between customers. The toilet, whilst a portaloo behind the cafe, was the best portaloo I have used. It was clean, well equipped and they have obviously tried to make the best of what they have. If I didn’t live so far away I would visit this cafe regularly. So glad I found this lovely independent cafe.”
“Still love this location in Kidderminster for my favourite coffee. Great staff, nice seating area inside and out. Coffee lovely as always. Plenty of parking. Like the longer hours at the location also. Easy to get in and out of back to the main road.”
“Whilst visiting the castle popped in for Breakfast. Great breakfast, hot and fresh! Will pop in again if passing as you do not have to visit the castle to use the cafe!”
“Brilliant place with amazing food and friendly staff”
“My fave cafe in Kiddie. They do my coffee just right. Lots of vegan food options, ice cream, health & wellness events, crystals, personal care refills. There's a sense of community with so much going on.”
“Thank You Both For a Nice Sandwich and Keep Up Your Good Work For The Service You Give To The NHS Workers”
“We popped in for an ice-cream (amazing gelato I mean) and a coffee ☕ also deeelish! their pizza looks amazing!!! i will definitely be back for more!! lots of parking. outside seating seemed like a great option only nuisance were the eager wasps outside, so we moved inside... It was a bit pricey, two scoops of gelato going for £7 but they are luxurious and BIG scoops, definitely worth it.”
“My Go to for a flat white before work and a doodle , staff personal and always on the ball”
“Popped in for lunch with a friend. We hadn't booked but we were seated straight away. A great menu with plenty of choice. Food was served quickly and was very tasty. Its definitely worth a visit.”
