“I've only ever ordered from here on Just Eat, but please may I talk about the quality and the prices here. For a low price, the good quality is absolutely excellent. The pizza comes hot and cheesy, and the chicken pakora is absolutely lush. I really do recommend ordering food from here, it's amazing. Chicken Pakora, Pizza, Chips and a Can of Pop for about £15? Bargain. 10/10.”

“Wow reading these reviews and I'm here like..... I've never really had a bad experience. Would just like to sate some of these reviews are years old so it may have changed. I don't live close to this restaurant and I've ordered many frequent takeaways from here. They have always prepared food how I've asked (no onions, exchanged this for that etc) no problem. They've always been polite to me. They have been late a couple of times at busy peaks but as soon as I have contacted them, they have apologised and its not been long after. The food is always hot and lovely. Once our chowmein came very very greasy and mentioned it the next time we ordered and haven't had an issue since. The only gripe I've ever personally had is that we are a vegan/vegetarian household mainly, and order mostly and frequently vegan dishes. Every now and again but very rarely, we will order the odd small meat dish when we have the children stay over. The restaurant will then change our freebies to meat and we cant eat them as the children don't eat flavoured meat. We always normally get given veggie spring rolls which is great but as soon as one item of meat is added to the order, we get extra extra meat that no one eats. The dogs are happy though lol and I can't really complain as its free lol.”

Sorry for the scare!! It was so lovely to have a conversation with you when you delivered :) (If there’s any way to leave a tip please do let me know! “Situated within Arcadian square, on Hurst street.. got there about 10pm .. was just starting to pick up... by midnight , the entire square went mental with people hopping from one bar to another.. This place, however, was the busiest with great vibes! Friendly staff, good music, and well dressed people with a positive attitude for a crazy night out. Had a lot of fun! Recommend going there early ish by about 11:00-11:30pm on weekends as this place picks up quite quickly.”

“A young bar worker who i believe to be know as callum called me his driver (who drives a lamborghini) to pick me up and drop me home safe after I had accidently taken an heroic dose of ibuprofen. Jolly good show”

“Stopped here on a long drive on the way back from a university open day. Service was quick, despite only 1 worker being there and it being fairly busy. Subway has been more expensive recently but the food is still too quality, it is your typical subway though, nothing unique about it when compared to other ones. Would recommend if you like subway.”

“You can’t review this place in the same way you would for a hotel you spend £60 + for. My review is relative for the price I paid. If you want a true reflection on whether to stay here read the below. I stopped here on a business trip with 3 others. Including breakfast it cost us £30 each. Can I really complain about the little things with prices like that? Parking was said to be an issue but directly outside the hotel there is a street, when we turned up I was able to park directly outside the hotel for free, no issues. The building itself is beautiful but like most old buildings needs work. They are refurbishing it. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful across the board. The reception area is lovely and so is the bar areas. The room itself was perfect for our needs. Yes the bed wasn’t the best and the room not the biggest but it was clean. What do you expect for £30??? All tea making facilities etc and coat hangers and hair dryers, TV etc etc. The room was a little cold at first but the radiator was on all night, once in bed no issues. If you’re with a partner this wouldn’t be an issue. The breakfast was fine too. Unlimited drinks, juices, pastries, cereal and toast. They take your order (friendly again) and the food for £5 was spot on. Would I stop here again? If I wanted a cheap night away in Birmingham. Without a doubt. It could be a magnificent place but because the building is old i understand it’s no cheap job!”

“Had a vegan plant with fake bacon. To be honest it had a great flavor. The staff were pleasant and happy to answer any questions about their products. 2 guys on the front were accommodating. The tables are clean and we had a good break here.”

“I know, usually the people leaving a feedback when they have a bad experience, but honestly, I've had a great one. Someone has made a huge crash with dent on my car back door, and luckily he was a real gentleman, and he's left there his insurance details. The Aviva has sorted out in a couple of days. Thank you Aviva, and Aviva's customer service.”

“This hotel is simply brilliant. I have now stayed here FOUR times in my life. My only complaint is that it is in Birmingham. However, this is outweighed by the many fantastic fortunes associated with staying here. The service is extremely exciting, with reception members often unexpectedly dropping into my room at late hours of the night when all lights are turned off - a fun and lighthearted surprise! I heard them reorganising my possessions and felt one worker checking my pulse while I slept, which was very reassuring to know my safety is a priority. Another safety measure met here is ensuring all visitors are vaccinated - at approximately 10pm I received a surprise vaccination at the bar, however I do not know what illness it was protecting me from as I quickly fell asleep; however, staff still kindly escorted me to my room and helped me undress for bed. Overall a brilliant experience - I am highly satisfied with the care and support offered by staff. At this hotel, I feel truly loved.”

“I had the trio of roasts which was absolutely delicious - the beef, pork belly and turkey melted in your mouth! The potatoes were crispy and coated with flavour on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The vegetables were all roasted and full of flavour. The Yorkshire pudding and gravy was also just as delicious! I would definitely come back here again for a meal. I had the sticky toffee pudding with custard for pudding. This was a generous portion which tasted really nice.”

“When a cafe is this full of tradies & roadworkers you know it's going to be good. Great food, fresh and good quality. Yes, it was a bit of a wait, but I expected it, given the number of people in and a phone that never stopped ringing.”
