    Awful takeaway experience 6/12. We didn't see the reviews before hand and were taught a lesson: Always check the reviews. Some food bland, some food only salty but the worst of all we ordered 2x hard food and neither were delivered, only MORE bland rice & peas. Better quality food required, better communication needed if they don't have things in stock. Can't take money when they can't deliver what we have bought. This was one of the worst takeaway experiences which is a shame because we don't often get together as a family group to treat ourselves on a Saturday night

    Not authentic Ordered goat which was completely bland 100% tasteless and seemed to contain a lot of gelatin or some kind of gloopy thickening agent. I struggled to taste any seasoning at all. Fried dumpling went straight in the bin tasted like it had been sitting around for days. Very disappointing.

    Ordered on Just Eat, a little late but not much. Food was hot, dumplings a little tough, curry mutton was good, and boneless which is good for my wife who doesn't enjoy bone in food. Wings were OK, but quite salty flavoured. We got 40% off with JustEat on this order, and that is about what the food was worth. If I had paid full menu price, I would have been very unhappy.

    Looks good from the outside, but the ratings say it all. I ate here recently and was very disappointed. Firstly, they didn't acknowledge me as I waited to be served. I was waiting for at least 5 minutes before I got fed up and asked for service. I selected my dish and paid. I paid more than the average price for the food, so here's me expecting a more generous portion with explosive flavours, but the portion was less than the average portion and the flavours were bland or overpowering. The oxtail was more bone than anything, and the steam veg portion was minimal. The rice lacked flavour, as did the meat, and I was just really disappointed. Then, I decided to order a piece of jerk chicken from the drum outside. That came to the table, and it wasn't steaming like the other food. Tasted it, and it was cold. When I then told the young woman the chicken was cold, she then went on to lie to me and tell me it had just come off the drum from outside. I'm certain that did not just come off the drum from outside as it was cold and did not taste fresh. I wouldn't eat here again as there is nothing authentic about this shop or the food, and the young woman who lied to me did kill any hopes of a better rating. There was a young black guy in there who, if I weren't for him, then I would give this place the lowest rating possible. He made the experience enjoyable for me by asking me if the food was alrite and if I needed anything else and just generally a well-spoken, attentive, polite young man. Avoid this place if you can, as you will be greatly disappointed if you taste their so-called authentic food. Also, the price paid and the food of that low quality. Not again

    I’m so disappointed, I’m Jamaican and I’m actually shocked at how dry and plain the food is. The dumpling should be nice and crispy but it’s soft on the outside. I was looking forward to eating the Mac and cheese but the Mac and cheese coming like it was cooked a week ago, then got put into a freezer and then warmed up and served for me. The mac and cheese has no flavour at all. Worse max and cheese I’ve ever tasted. Ontop of that I order Victoria cake they gave me some type of cheese cake. The only two things that is decent is the rice and peas and the fries. I paid £24 for all of this to be disappointed.

    Food is good and well priced, I usually get the jerk chicken which is great. Wouldn't recommend the curry goat as it was too salty and tasteless, the hake was nice, dumplings are 50/50 and fried plantain is nice. Would recommend in general but wish they were m consistent.

    They failed to refund my money its always a big problem.. Dont order from here they wouldn't refund you for the food they dont have.. I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE

    Food is awful looking n taste disgusting .. Check your food b4 leaving. Very little meat sitting in watery tasteless gravy, rice n peas is white with no colour like they used tin beans. Its not a Caribbean Restaurant Trust me no twist here, Turkish people are cooking the food. Martin an excellent Jamaican chef used to cook here but left some time ago. Don't b fooled. Don't waste your time or money .. NASTY !! Also the rating on the door is 5 when actually they are a 3. I know this as I downloaded the app which gives the true rating .. 3!! Bloody liars!!
