   Mia and Erin served us tonight and they were absolutely brilliant. They were really friendly and the food they served us was just delicious!!!    This was the first time we’ve been since the refurb, and it’s a great improvement. We came for Sunday lunch for my birthday, and Nadia served us and she was a delight. Very friendly and professional service. The food was lovely and good portion sizes. This is a lovely place for Sunday lunches and especially for Christmas when the open fires are lit and the Christmas tree is up. Highly recommended!

   I had the trio of roasts which was absolutely delicious - the beef, pork belly and turkey melted in your mouth! The potatoes were crispy and coated with flavour on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The vegetables were all roasted and full of flavour. The Yorkshire pudding and gravy was also just as delicious! I would definitely come back here again for a meal. I had the sticky toffee pudding with custard for pudding. This was a generous portion which tasted really nice.

   We were greeted by many while walking around admiring the oak beams as well as the history of this amazing building which used to be a house nearly half a millennium ago. All of the staff were wearing face masks, plenty of space for tooting or away from the tooters. Good selection of drinks but can't be said the same if you are a vegetarian or vegan. Would recommend.
