Ordered through Uber. Delivery was 40 mins late. Food was cold, chips were soggy and no dip for the won tons. Curry and chow mein where bland. Curry sauced used was a basic Chinese sauce you can buy from wing yips in Aston. I can cook better food myself.
Waiting 2 hours and counting for a delivery. Phoned up and they said the driver is in traffic. We are 0.2 miles away from the restaurant, it would take around 45-50 seconds to drive from the restaurant to our address, and it’s a Sunday at 8pm, what traffic?
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! After reading a lot of reviews there is a reoccurring theme, they send you the incorrect dish and don’t correct it. I will never order from here again, they sent me incorrect dishes, when I called them they were adamant they sent the correct dishes and I was wrong!! I offered to send them a picture, they weren’t interested and said I’d need to take it up with Uber who’d already told me to call them…. Terrible service and a lost customer.
Delivery was really good but when we came to food it was really poor. House special curry wasn't special it consisted of onions watery sauce 2 shrimps and a little meat was tasteless, didn't enjoy chips they were dry and soleless, bbq spare ribs nothing like bbq sauce and ribs tasteless. £35 lighter hope we make it through the night...!
I ordered without looking at the ratings, and that was my mistake. Easy ordering, cash, or online payment option. Price is quite expensive for the quantity. The food tastes average to rather poor. I felt bad after eating: abdominal pain and diarrhoea until the day after.
Wouldn’t order from here again. Chowmein was dry and had a fishy taste.
I dont think they trust phone orders because when I went to collect they started cooking the food and I could tell it was in a hurry because it was half 10 and they shut at 11 and I advise do not ask for extra sauce like curry because I had about a tablespoon full.
Normally use this place and was decent but as they have informed me about they have a new chef witch is a big over statement I would just call them a cook very bland tasteless food and you get less for your money for what i spent definitely expected more. Quality and quantity was very poor. Think I will be using mayflower from now on as they seem to be able to keep a reasonable standard.
Wow reading these reviews and I'm here like..... I've never really had a bad experience. Would just like to sate some of these reviews are years old so it may have changed. I don't live close to this restaurant and I've ordered many frequent takeaways from here. They have always prepared food how I've asked (no onions, exchanged this for that etc) no problem. They've always been polite to me. They have been late a couple of times at busy peaks but as soon as I have contacted them, they have apologised and its not been long after. The food is always hot and lovely. Once our chowmein came very very greasy and mentioned it the next time we ordered and haven't had an issue since. The only gripe I've ever personally had is that we are a vegan/vegetarian household mainly, and order mostly and frequently vegan dishes. Every now and again but very rarely, we will order the odd small meat dish when we have the children stay over. The restaurant will then change our freebies to meat and we cant eat them as the children don't eat flavoured meat. We always normally get given veggie spring rolls which is great but as soon as one item of meat is added to the order, we get extra extra meat that no one eats. The dogs are happy though lol and I can't really complain as its free lol.
