“We had our Christmas party here last night at the Christmas party night - and that it was. The whole night was fantastic - from being greeted on the car park to the amazing meal to the bar, the staff, the disco - it was all fabulous. The team were so professional and attentive, a real credit to The School House . The meal - wow, everyone commented on how beautiful the meal was. The disco - great music, great dj- really got the party going. We all had such a lovely night. On behalf of us all thank you for the best Christmas party we’ve had, we will definitely see you next year”

“Room was pristine, bumped into the housekeeper as I was checking in and she made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel is attached to a charming country style pub with amazing food and fantastic staff. The location is on a busy road but also a 5 minute bus from the town centre which was a beautiful place to spend the day and has lots of local amenities. I would recommend this hotel to a person travelling alone or as a couple for a peaceful retreat as the location has fantastic transport links all over the country.”

“I’d rate this more stars if possible. Wingers for me is one of my favourite go to ‘fast foods’, I use the term fast food loosely as it feels more of a dining experience with the quality of the food. Chips always crispy and hot Chicken always tender and moist Plenty of sauce accompanied with both Milkshakes always spot on with flavour. And resonable pricing for the quantity and quality of food you receive. The price is perfect. Not too little, not too expensive. You really cannot go wrong with wingers. I can happily say I’ve NEVER had a bad wingers. Somdutt and his team are incredible! He always recognises returning guests and always makes us feel welcome, heard and respected. I have nothing but love for Wingers and truly hope you continue to expand and set a new and better bar for ‘fast foods’ establishments. Thank you for being the place that defines fast food and incredible customer service.”

“We have been going to pizza by goli for years! The food is always spot on with service to match. We normally go to Sutton Coldfield but tried The Lichfield restaurant last night which was great. We were served by Danielle who really looked after our evening but we were sad to find out at the end that any gratuity could only be cash (nobody carries cash). Please bear this in mind as the food is great but the serving staff were fantastic also.”

“I contacted The Bengal Inidan Restaurant with query about a Christmas work buffet. The were very responsive, polite and answered queries regarding dietary requirements. We discussed various options and decided on a starter buffet. On collection day they were very helpful directing us to their car park and loading items into our car. The food came in lovely large sturdy foil containers and we actually received a few more items than ordered. The buffet was a resounding success, very postive comments on the items, the onion bhaji's were delicious and a favourite. With past sandwich buffets there was always sandwiches left but this year everything was cleared up. We would definitely recommend The Bengal and hope to use them again in the future. Thank you”

“Emilia our server was very good, engaging and friendly. Food was reasonable, it was quite quiet which was a surprise but 2 weeks before Christmas maybe just that people had been out for lunch instead. The sharing dessert was very good.”

“Been today for my birthday.. absolutely gorgeous and so friendly. 4 adults. Food was beautiful. Yuk sung and duck starters was amazing. And all four main meals was beautiful. Special curry. Sizzling lamb. Beef green pepper & King prawn Cantonese.. rice chips and Singapore noodles.. host was fantastic and made very welcome.. also given some complimentary wine for my birthday.. this is my favourite Chinese restaurant.. thank you so much for a wonderful birthday”

“we ordered a couple of pizzas and a chicken burger and cheesy chips and a can, honestly everything was cooked perfectly and the staff and delivery driver were fantastic a clear 10/10”

“Stayed here and it was everything we needed for a one night stay when visiting family. Would benefit from an upgrade and the key was a bit outdated but staff made up for it and more. Never stayed in such a clean premier inn good value for money”

“I hadn’t used this place for years, I decided to grab my partner and myself a chow mien on Monday night. Me being a fussy so and so requested no prawns in my mixed chow mien. Sadly when I got home I unfortunately had prawns in my dish, at the time it was very disappointed but I called back and requested it was replaced. It was not convenient to replace at the time but two nights later I called and the lovely member of staff honoured her promise and replaced my meal. My partner had a veg chow mien, I had a mixed meat chow mien with curry sauce and we were both very impressed. When in Lichfield I would certainly use again!”

“Amazing. Jack and Lucy have made Dubberley Delicious private dining an experience not to be missed. Eight course fine dining menu tailored to our tastes, all prepared and cooked fresh in the kitchen next to your table. Nothing is rushed, we were there for about 3 hours, each course being explained with extra insight given into the preparation. Seasonal menu that prides itself on using local and British produce, even the Wagyu is from Welsh Wagyu cattle. Private dining isn't cheap, we paid a little over £135 each including drinks. Already checking our dairy to see when we can go again.”

“Afternoon tea as a birthday treat all arranged by my son who lives in Australia. A perfect afternoon for my sister (who was in on the treat) and myself. Good choice of sandwiches, savouries, and cakes. Very pretty crockery, as much tea as we wanted. The service was excellent. We bought some of the cake home as there was so much. We have been here before and will certainly go again. As an added extra, my son arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered during our tea.”

“We hired the private dining room at The Boat for my Mum’s 60th birthday meal. We all had a Sunday roast with starter and dessert. From the initial email booking enquiry with Mitchell, right through to the end of the big day everything was exceptional. The service was super attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and creative, and we enjoyed pre and post meal drinks in their beautiful and sunny garden. I would not hesitate to go back there again for a special occasion or a date night treat. Big thanks to all the staff for making my Mum’s birthday extra special.”

“We always come to the Bulls Head when we’re celebrating as you can always guarantee a friendly welcome, excellent food and amazing service. Love it when Amanda serves us - she’s so friendly and always remembers us and she’s very attentive. Would recommend the Bulls Head to anyone - my favourite place to eat!”

“We went this morning with my 4 and 5 year old. We had been disappointed with somewhere else as we had booked to see santa and they had let us down. I came across what I believe to be the owner who said come in and see the grotto. The team looked after my children and made sure they had an amazing time. Additionally, the atmosphere, service and drinks were excellent. I will be returning for a full breakfast in the near future. Thank you to the two men I met outside who made my boys day and the staff for looking after them - it was very much appreciated- thank you.”
