   We went this morning with my 4 and 5 year old. We had been disappointed with somewhere else as we had booked to see santa and they had let us down. I came across what I believe to be the owner who said come in and see the grotto. The team looked after my children and made sure they had an amazing time. Additionally, the atmosphere, service and drinks were excellent. I will be returning for a full breakfast in the near future. Thank you to the two men I met outside who made my boys day and the staff for looking after them - it was very much appreciated- thank you.

   Terrible after changing hands. Went on a recommendation as my friend said “it does the best breakfast in town” but the quality of the food was really poor (had bacon pancakes, and some small english breakfasts for the kids or something like that). After I found out it was under new management or something so that must be why. The service wasn’t great either, I’m not writing this to be insulting, but being dishonest won’t help things, i hope the quality gets better, then i might try again.

   Went in this morning sunday 7th Dec spur of the moment never been before. There was a n Victorian Christmas Market in the centre of the City so as you can imagine extremely busy around as was the cafe. The place is very well kept, immaculate and cosy. I managed to get a table and after scouring the menu settled on a bacon sandwich and latte. Went to order they confirmed there was a 30min wait on food and apologised which I replied no probs its good to be busy and its always a good sign. They said they had Skelton staff but I didn't mind and it is Sunday after all and 30mins is nothing. Then the till crashed and had to be rebooted which again can't be helped but again got an apology. Latte came to table very quickly and was lovely really good coffee food came 20mins after order and was bang on!!! A really good bacon sarnie on thick fresh bread was beautiful. As I left i made sure I told thr lady that served me owner I think how good the food and drink was. She thanked me and thanked for my patience. All in superb experience and 1st class customer service I will be back

   Such a lovely spot for breakfast — calm atmosphere, great coffee, and beautifully presented food. I had the smashed avocado with poached eggs, and everything was so fresh. My little boy said they were the fluffiest pancakes with bacon and maple syrup! The full English was delicious with generous portions. Such a cosy little find — definitely a new favourite for slow weekend mornings. Great service and highly recommend!

   I’ve been coming to this cafe for years, and even with the recent change of ownership, it’s just as wonderful as ever — maybe even better! The coffee is always spot on, and the eggs benedict are absolutely delicious. They always have a lovely selection of fresh cakes on offer too. You can really tell they care about quality and service. A perfect spot for breakfast, brunch, or just a good coffee and cake. Highly recommend!

   Took my grandson and daughter out for lunch, as you can see my grandson loved his mac n cheese and his first strawberry milkshake. ❤️ fabulous cafe, very friendly, and food is lovely. Definitely 5*s off me.
