   Dated restaurant with a menu full of authentic Italian food. It was like eating at my nans with the peach and cream interior the hostess was lovely very welcoming and showed us to our table the restaurant gradually started to fill up about 7pm. We had starters which were good food came out very quickly and hot. I had pasta as a main which was ok not much taste and my partner had fillet steak which was very overdone but we never got asked how our food was. The best part was the dessert a good old classic tiramisu which was not too sweet. The bill came to £120 with us only having a wine and soft drink included in that price. I wouldn’t return as I have had better for the price paid but I think for pasta dishes it’s very good.

   We have visited 3 timds within the last 3 months. Absolutely beautiful, very friendly staff, l Gino himself can be quite a laugh! Very professional, very much the real deal and I must say so myself. This is FINE Dinning. If you want to "treat" and are not to fussed on spending the money on the right food then 100% recommend. If you don't have high expectations and are not used to this kind of atmosphere, or fine dining I'll be honest it isn't for you.

   It's dawned on me that I've never left a review for this restaurant, despite going at least once every week, for several years now (that is the real review, I wouldn't go so often if it was rubbish - come here, it's very good). Da Gino's is one of my my favourite restaurants. Eating there is always relaxed, there is a genuinely nice atmosphere and the food is consistently great, the freshness of the ingredients and the fact that much of it's made in-house is manifest. Lunch & Sunday lunch are both *outstanding* value for money and you will leave full. Dinner is perfect for an evening meal or a special occasion. Da Gino is an excellent, authentic, family run, independent, Italian restaurant and I think it very much deserves your attention. For the avoidance of doubt, it is much better than any Italian restaurants in the area and in Birmingham, in my opinion. Apologies for the rubbish photos, I'm not one to take pictures of my food normally.

   Fabulous meal with my family as a group of 5 this evening. Service was quick but not rushed, friendly and happy to accommodate. Food was delicious, we all had different dishes, both starters and mains, and every one of them was cooked to perfection and fresh. We will definitely be returning. Our only regret is not going sooner!

   Birthday meal for the Mrs. Amazing food. Great service. Staff were friendly and helpful without hovering over you. If you're looking for a place for a special meal where you don't mind spending that bit extra for something special I'd definitely recommend this place.

   1 of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in years! The Food, The Service 5 Star I didn't like the table we were seated at, was facing each other and it was next to a post (but we could have easily moved) however the food and service more then made uo for it!
