   We were very disappointed with our visit this time. We’ve been to this restaurant before and had much better food and service, which is why this experience was so frustrating. We ordered one starter, one main course, and a dessert, and the price simply didn’t match the quality. The waiting time was far too long, especially considering how quiet it was. When the food finally arrived, the portions of vegetables were very small and they were overcooked. The main course was particularly disappointing — the potatoes were cold and clearly microwaved, which is unacceptable at this price point. To make matters worse, the crème brûlée was not a crème brûlée at all. It was cold, lacked flavor, and had none of the expected texture. Overall, the quality has noticeably dropped compared to our previous visits. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet our expectations, and we don’t feel it was worth the money

   Emilia our server was very good, engaging and friendly. Food was reasonable, it was quite quiet which was a surprise but 2 weeks before Christmas maybe just that people had been out for lunch instead. The sharing dessert was very good.

   From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the manager, Nicole, who instantly made us feel welcome. She looked after us throughout the evening with genuine warmth, even while managing several other tables and supporting different areas of the restaurant. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her attentiveness truly elevated our experience. For our first visit, we couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere or better food. Our wine was topped up regularly without us needing to ask, and Nicole offered helpful recommendations that made choosing dishes easy. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection – huge compliments to chefs Ethan and Mark for delivering such an exceptional meal. And to finish, Laura’s crème brûlées were the perfect “naughty treat,” beautifully made and incredibly delicious. There were no faults at all. The service was warm, efficient, and always accompanied by a smile. This place is a real hidden gem, and we’re already looking forward to returning. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends. Thank you all for a truly delightful evening!

   We attended for my birthday with our 3 week old son on our first outing for dinner. Carly looked after us, she was super attentive and really made our experience super easy. The food was exceptional as it always is. The chef (Connor) also found out about my birthday and went above and beyond by sending us a cake out as a treat to help us celebrate my birthday. He even decorated around the plate and put a candle on. The staff really went above and beyond as they always do!

   Went for a Sunday lunch on the 27th Nov 22’ with some friends. We had good service, and the food was delicious! The only thing was that they forgot to bring out some of the extras that we paid for that came with our meals but other than that, it was very good.

   We arrived at the pub and waited to be seated, whilst we were acknowledged soon after arrival by a member of staff it was a further 5 minutes before anyone came across to take us to our seat. That may not sound a lot but when you're just standing in a pub, it feels like like an awfully long time. Once we were seated the service was very good and our waiter very attentive. The food was very good, although it could have been hotter. We are coming for Christmas Dinner and hope that the little niggles are ironed out by then but we are looking forward to it.

   We came during a midweek evening whilst it was fairly quiet. We had plenty of choice so chose to sit by the log fire. Food was really nice, staff were friendly and chatty. All round a really nice experience here.

   Had a lovely family meal 6 of us before the England game. Service was good, menu was fine. Very nicely furnished with some booths large enough for 6 adults. My husband and both had the crab and prawn fishcakes. We both commented on how tasty and moist they were. The chicken escalope was also very good.
