“I first ordered food from dhaka over 20 years ago. The food has all ways been to a high standard. I used to order a curry and nan every friday when my parents used to leave me in babysitting. With delivery it used to cost £5. How many curry houses can you say were around back then. I can fit them on one hand.”

“Absolutely great food, bit on the pricey side but so worth it. I used to get the burritos all the time but the rice has now become very hit and miss. I don’t know what they’ve done but every time it’s now hard/uncooked or too mushy/overcooked. So now I just stick to the nachos. The chicken and chorizo ones are great. I order all the time, once I got the wrong order and I called and the girl on the phone was so lovely about it. So even with those 2 issues, I still come back and get the nachos 10/10”

“Superb. Food was spot on, mixed grill portions are big, great for sharing if you have sides with it. Very nice venue, staff are friendly, pints are decent, price is reasonable and the footys usually on. What more can you ask for?”

“I have today tried Romanian food for the first time. I had mixed grill and a chicken skewer. I was absolutely delighted with the service they provided. And TOTALLY blown away by the food it was absolutely delicious. I will add photos. I have literally just finished eating. The mixed grill consisted of some delicious chicken wings with char grill and a delicious flavour, totally loved them. There was also Romanian sausage it had a smoked flavour, it was also salty, absutley loved it! Then some kind of a kebab I think it was pork but whatever it was it blew me away. Then came the chicken skewer see photo, again absolutely delicious served with a 12 inch wooden skewer a selection of peppers onions and tomatoes, with chucks of chicken. Charr grilled again and absolutely delicious. New discovery for me in Redditch. Very fresh and tasty. Thanks guys :-)”

“We love the Redolence, if you want proper authentic Indian food that is all made from scratch then this is your place. They are vegan friendly too. The staff are wonderfully helpful, friendly and polite. We can't recommend it enough.”

From the moment you arrive, Syed and his team make you feel so welcome – they are friendly, attentive, and always happy to go the extra mile. “Westmead Hotel is situated about 10 minutes from the M42, 20 minutes from M5 and is an idea place for Wedding and birthday celebrations, and the Wake for funerals. Food is very good. They also have a lounge serving tea, Coffee etc. Cannot advise on the rooms as I have no need to use them.”

All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, they will cook you any meal at whatever strength and with any twist you like. I would only say I wouldn’t want it getting too popular as I might struggle to get a seat. But really, if you are looking for a quality and affordable Indian meal you have to at least try this place for yourself. You can even bring your own drinks…. What an establishment”

“Every one likes to moan in reviews the world's gone very miserable so here's a little positivity. I'm not a big Chinese food fan I've tried various takeaways in the redditch area and they were not great. However after searching for around I tried Golden wok and must say the food was tasty well cooked and not oily at all we were very impressed.”
